Sharpie S-Gel Pens Black Ink 0.7mm Medium Tip White barrel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pack of Sharpie S Gel Pens in the color light purple. These pants come in a four pack, and have black ink with a 0.7mm tip. These pens are designed very well with finger grips, labeled what tip it is on the top, and a clicker top. I like how I can pick fun different colors to switch it up if I wanted to. The ink did not smear for me and it did not bleed either. Overall I am very impressed with these. I received an incentive to write this review.

I tend to hold my pens a little slanted and it’s not a great pen for the slanted writing, the ball doesn’t seem to hit the paper well so I end up with gaps in my writing, but if I’m straighten up a bit it works perfectly. The black ink dries quick and doesn’t smudge, which is nice! It’s a bit muted for a black ink but not gray so it’s fine. I received an incentive to write this review.

I get very sweaty hands and this keeps it from slipping out of my hand during a test. The barrel is a bright white color and the ink is bright black because it is a gel pen. The cushioning makes it really easy to hold the pen without it slipping, especially if you’ve been riding for a long period of time in your hands get sweaty. The pen is retractable so when you store it, you are not going to get ink all over the place that you are storing them . The ink doesn’t smudge on regular paper, but when I used it to write on a birthday card, it did smudge. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a new set of pens! The plastic tip was very difficult to remove and seemed to impact the pens ability to write smoothly. I will spend more time getting all of it off to improve the quality but I wish that were easier to take off. These pens look fancy and I am excited to use them. I like how light the pen is as well. The ink is so clean and bold and the ball point is extremely smooth as it rolls. I scribbled a large patch of ink and was impressed with how quickly the ink dried. It took just a few seconds for it to not smear and it did not bleed through the paper at all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These gel pens are great! They are definitely “thicker” like 0.7 so if you like thinner ink, stick to 0.5. However, these slide well and work great. They have a silver stripe around them but these are black ink, not silver. They did not bleed through the thin notebook paper I used. They also say non smudge so I wiped the page IMMEDIATELY after I wrote “sharpie”. In the third picture you can see the tiny smear on the dot of the eye, but that was it! The pen just glides across the paper. The ink dries so fast that it won’t smear or smudge. A great feature to have, especially for a gel pen! The pen is light and comfortable to use.
