About the Author



Stan and Jan Berenstain introduced the first Berenstain Bear books in 1962. Mike Berenstain grew up watching his parents work together to write about and draw these lovable bears. Eventually he started drawing and writing about them too. Though Stan died in 2005, Jan and Mike continue to create the delightful Bear adventures from their family home in Pennsylvania, in an area that looks much like the sunny dirt road deep in Bear Country.

Great book

I purchased this book to read to my toddler thinking it was going to be age appropriate for how small the book is. Although the text is long for her age group, she enjoyed looking at the illustrations. I enjoyed reading it because it demonstrates children what Easter is truly about. Something I love about target is that if you order for in store pick up which is what I did for the book I was told the item wasn’t available so they offered to deliver the book for free at my house.

This is a very small sized book with short amount of pages but lengthy text in each page. It is difficult for younger ones to follow along but they at least have the visuals to see.
