I bought this monitor arm because it can handle a heavier monitor. Most other monitor arms had a capacity that wasn't enough, or barely enough. I have a large, heavy gaming monitor, and as nice as it is the size and weight is rather unwieldy. This monitor arm handles the monitor with ease. The only drawback is it isn't as mobile as others, meaning you are limited on angle and placement compared to arms that fold thanks to multiple joints. I have two monitors I use for my laptop, and this mount, which is certainly beefy with smooth operation, falls short only because my desk is not wide or deep enough to accommodate both monitors as comfortably as I'd like.

Works well for my 40" monitor. The cable channel underneath got damaged during installation. The inly real frustrating thing was that for weeks I've been seeing ads for a 20% off promo everywhere in my browser, but the coupon code (FUN20) apparently expired more than a year ago, so I ended up paying full price. Wrote to Monoprice multiple times but no reply.

The mounting is considerably more stable than the smaller unit it replaces All the motions are excellent I have an LG UltraWide mounted 34WR55QC

Great monitor arm! A little bulky but it's to be expected for a heavy duty monitor arm. Cable management is clean and easy to use. Works for monitors of all sizes and allows me to use all of my desk space.

The mount is very well-built but just can't support my new 49" widescreen monitor weighing 32 lbs. I had to put a block under the arm. Otherwise, I think it's very well built and an excellent value. I'm keeping it.

Very strong and sturdy. This is a solid mount holding my Samsung 49" curved monitor with ease. Worth every penny

Monitor arm works great with a Samsung G9. Make sure to use the adjust screw at the top to tighten the arm so it holds the weight. Love it. I have it off center so the monitor can push to the back of the desk. Was 1/3 the cost of the next viable mount for this monitor.

I have two 27" monitors that I put on this for a standing desk. I mounted it using the option to drill through the desktop and bolt through the provided plate. The assembly is very study except for the quick connect plate. This is a small bit that allows the VESA mount to be bolted to your monitor and then clip into place on the arm. It's a good design, but the tolerance on the plate is too loose and the monitor can rotate a few degrees. It's only noticeable when you adjust the position of the monitors, and there's no chance that the monitor would fall, but it is slightly annoying. There are two parts that I wish were painted black like the rest of the arms, which are the upper cable management cover, which is clear, and the bolt plate, which is galvanized steel. I painted the plate black myself and may paint the cable covers at some later point. Being able to rotate the monitors any time is great and the height adjustment is almost essential for a standing desk. And if I feel like leaning back in my chair, I can pull a monitor forward and angle it down towards me. The cable management will let my desk be almost wire free when I'm done with it. I would absolutely buy this again.

Simply due to my space constraints the only way I can get the two monitors side by side like I want/need places them 12" to 14" closer to me than I'd like. I don't even know if it exists but a mount with one of the two arm sections that could telescope in or out would be perfect.

Nice monitor arm, but it doesn't hold my 40 inch monitor up. I tried to turn the bolt like it says in the instructions but still the monitor won't hold up :-(

The mount is of great quality and feels very premium and heavy-duty compared to other mounts I used to use (that's not to say the other mounts don't do the job as well). The arms themselves are quite heavy and sturdy. The springs are smooth and the space savings on the table are great. Echoing another 5-star review: - Very easy to install - cable management is appreciated, but in my personal setup I wasn't able to take much advantage of it since it adds another 2-3 feet of the cable length requirement (maybe good to invest in longer cables esp for standing desks) - desk bracket has two heavy-duty screws and feels very secure Some of the cons I noticed: - the vesa mount (which is supposed to go onto the monitor before attaching it to the arms) feels a bit loose in the arm adding a tiny bit extra movement, especially on heavier screens which is a bit tricky when first aligning the screens - Depending on your setup you may have the arms reach back quite far causing your desk to be farther from the wall than it may normally be Overall I'm very happy with this mount.

I bought a 49? Dark Matter display a while back and bought this mount to hold it. Unfortunately, the vesa mount supplied with the stand is designed for 75mm and 100mm vesa mounting. The dark matter monitor is a 75mm mount but is recessed in a circle. This didn?t allow the supplied vesa bracket to mount to the monitor. I ended up needing to find/buy additional M4 standoffs to properly mount the monitor. The additional stand-off height needed was about 15mm even when using the two standoffs supplied with the monitor for vesa mounting. Having 4 more of the standoffs originally supplied with the monitor would have been great to have supplied with the mount. Other than having to figure out mounting options, the mount has been great. Easy to move and position how you want it. Make sure to have a sturdy desk though.
