Maui Jim Hookipa Reading Sunglasses - Gray lenses with Black frame - universal fit

I’m so glad I paid for 2nd day air and it’s taken 5 days to arrive.

Maui used to have the best lenses. Unfortunately, they discontinued their polycarbonate lenses and proposed the new lens, MauiPure, for slightly better sharpness; however, they totally messed up the color. None of the neutral gray lenses are actually NEUTRAL GRAY. They are in fact GREEN. The neutral gray used to be my most favorite color, but the new lenses are all green. The glass lenses are less green, but they are definitely not gray. There are many companies that are trying to push their technology to offer something like the maui's OLD neutral gray, but MauiJim has downgraded their own lenses. The company's engineers should've known that turning gray into green is way more noticeable (in an unpleasant and negative way) than the marginal improvement in sharpness (if there is any, because I did not notice a big difference in sharpness and other things they claim about their new lenses). Maui, please go back to your old technology with the true neutral gray lenses.....

Lightweight, comfortable to wear. I have built in readers in the lenses which makes it easy to see the dash and car controls without changing glasses. Also,, nice for reading books or mail while outside. I like the optics as well. Really no complaints at all.
