Description
Convert your slow cooker into an air fryer. The Hamilton Beach Air Fry Lid is easy to use and it lets you air fry all your favorite food and easily brown and crisp food after slow cooking. To air fry, fill the included air fry basket with food, place it in the crock and put the air fry lid on your slow cooker. To brown or crisp food after slow cooking, leave the food in the crock after slow cooking and top with the air fry lid. Use the control panel on the lid to select a pre-programmed cooking mode with a default cooking time and temperature. You can use the pre-programmed cooking modes to air fry, broil, bake, roast or warm and if needed, you can adjust each mode's default cooking time and temperature with the arrow buttons. This is easy to clean. I've only made breakfast sausage patties, brats, egg white rounds, & ham slices. This has helped make my breakfast easier with an easy clean-up and the grease comes off the meats better.

My family and I love chicken so I just had to try some air fried chicken breasts. They were so good! The Hamilton Beach Air Fry Lid did an excellent job of air frying them in my slow cooker. The Hamilton Beach Air Fry Lid (when used on a qualifying Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker) can air fry, broil, bake/roast, and warm your food. It does come with an air fry basket and air fry lid stand (to cool the lid on after use). Clean up is easy. Just wipe top and bottom of air fry lid with a wet cloth and dry. Do not immerse in water! I really love my Hamilton Beach Air Fry Lid and am looking forward to making lots more food in it!

Never thought I could use an Airfryer that cooked a roast so fast. cleaning was very easy. I would totally recommend this Hamilton Beach Airfryer Lid to everyone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frankly I'm not very happy with this product. I had to buy a new slow cooker that worked with this air fryer attachment, that said, does it work? Yes, very well. Too well. I burned by chicken strips and onion rings, so you might want to adjust your settings and keep an eye on your food. The controls are easy enough and it easy to clean. The handle pause is also very feature. You lift up the handle and it stops, very nice.
I didn't like this product. Won't use it again.

The push button didn't respond easily and needed several pushes to get it to react, and that was pushing the button and waiting several seconds for it to respond. This heated my entire slow cooker/crock pot, and the surround pan it sits in including the cord area. The actual cooking/browning from the lid wasn't that good. The holder for the lid didn't stay stable and I had a difficult time sitting the lid on the holder without the holder collapsing. The cord is also too short.

If give it a chance it does work well. Gives your slow cooker that you already own a new feature. There are many other appliances adding air fryer option as just another use for their product. This adds it with an additional cost, though since you already have your slow cooker then an option for those wanting to use it instead of buying another appliance. Use is easy, cleaning of it is nice, though you still have your slow cooker to clean. But this review is of this product and not the clean-up of your slow cooker. Lots of functions that's easy to understand. As for it working as an air fryer it does it well, but everything has different consistency and peoples tastes of crispness are so different, so that's hard to actually determine. With that, it does what's meant to do and does it well.

I have alot of ideas of what I can make with this crockpot air fryer combo. This has my creative mind going of things to make. My first attempt was baby back ribs. Since I live in snow country ribs on the grill is a no go. This combo did awesome ribs were tender and crispy. I like the fact that I can air fry,broil bake and roast. Would recommend this for your crockpot!

It is an accessory that turns a slow cooker into an appliance that will air fry, broil, bake and roast. It will also simply keep cooked foods warm at just the right temperature. It turns an appliance made for one function into one that does many. This makes it a good alternative for space saving. With this accessory one can do with one appliance what might have taken several. It makes for a very efficient use of space. It has push-button ease of use. It is a good choice for anyone looking for an appliance that is versatile, compact and user friendly.

But, I didn't want to take up more counter space and I wasn't sure it would be any better than my toaster over. Well, I can tell you now, it is worth it. I used this to make some crispy wings, that in the oven were always cooked, but not crispy. These turned out nice and crispy. French fries as well are nice and crispy. Plus, with this just being a lid to my crock pot, it didn't take up any extra space. It comes with a nice basket to hold the food while cooking and a rack to hold the lid while you flip the food over. The most important thing to do is to make sure to check if your crock pot is the right size/shape to fit the lid. It can also broil, bake and keep food warm, but I have been air frying everything so far. I really do love this Air Fry Lid!

I made tator tots first, they were crisper than I could get in the oven. Heated frozen sausage and they were perfect, better than on the grill. The fryer lid fits perfectly in my style of cooking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have wanted to try an air fryer but did not want another appliance in my kitchen so the Air fry lid for 6 Quart Oval Slow Cookers was a wonderful option. It was very easy to understand the instructions to operate and I appreciated the oval basket and cooling stand for the lid. I made frozen French fries first, I used the time suggested and they burned so I tried again at 8 minutes they were perfect. inside nice and fluffy and outside lightly browned the way we like. Next I made a 6 inch pan of brownies and they turned out perfect the first try, I am impressed with the finished product and love the time savings in the kitchen! I have also made chicken breasts and reheated some pizza. The only issue is the emblems for the lid are already coming off with normal use, as shown in my photos. This will be an issue in the future if I or another user are unable to see the button icons to use the item. This is the reason for 4 stars.

For a long time I've wanted to try an air fryer because of the health benefits, but hesitated to add another appliance to my small kitchen. The Air Fry Lid is a great solution. It worked perfectly with my oval 6-quart slow cooker, and the instructions were quite easy to follow. In addition to a food basket, it comes with a folding lid rest to protect your countertop. French fries were the first thing I prepared using the air fry lid, and they turned out very well. My husband added his approval to mine!

The only button that worked was the power button so I could turn it on and off but that was about it. I even had my husband press the buttons in case my fingers weren't strong enough for some reason. I made a whole chicken in my slow cooker and was hoping to crisp up the skin. We ended up eating boiled chicken. There were spots on it as if it had been used even though it was fresh out of the box (see photos). I'm giving it 2 stars because the only good thing I can say about it is it fit my Hamilton Beach slow cooker perfectly.

The food cooks so much more evenly with this. The size of the basket isn’t too big but it does the job. Overall I’m very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend.
