    Slow cooker

    I've been using this product for years. As well as other Hamilton Beach products that I've owned over the years. My slow cooker finally went out. So I wanted to buy a new one. The opportunity finally came in so I had to order 1 asap. Was finally able to get one. So happy once again. We'll be using this for many years to come. Thank you very much for your products.

    Died Quickly

    I only used the slow cooker about 8 times since I received it in February. The power lights go on, so it is getting power, but it will not heat up. I tried to contact the manufacturer but was not able to get an email address and the phone # just says to email. $40 wasted.

    Gets extremely hot on outside of pot.

    The first time I used the slow cooker it took about an hour to warm up/get completely hot. But once it got hot it started cooking . The dial timer stayed on 6 hours it never went to completely 1 hour left to cook. It never changed to warm. But for the price I hope it last for at least a year. I won’t purchase this one again. The outside of the pot gets extremely hot. Be careful and don’t touch or you will get burned.

    Great food

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second that I've bought for myself, the first went on a journey with my child that joined the Navy. I love this brand as opposed to the 2 original that were giving to me, because of the weight. Not only is it a much lighter cooker, it's also a much more reliable cooker as far as everything being done at one time.

    More of a fast cooker than a slow cooker!

    Unfortunately this slow cooker cooks way faster than any slow cooker I ever had. I wouldn’t go off and leave this on even using the timer. I fixed pork chops today and had to turn it down to low after 1 hour. Really seems to run hot and all liquids evaporate. Never had this problem before with a slow cooker. Wouldn’t recommend it.
