This product does not hold 4 quarts, only 3. Our family attempted to pour 4 quarts of water into this "4-Quart Slow Cooker" to settle a dispute about its small size. The pot was full at only 3 Quarts.

I love this thing. I got the 4QT slow cooker as a gift, and I use it ALL the time. It's perfect for just 2 people, and I much prefer it to my pressure pot. Met comes out juicy and fall apart tender, and the sauces and soups always stay the perfect temp for me in this. It's a bit small for a family size meal, but for a side dish or just a couple, the size is spot on.

High quality, basic controls slow cooker
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This slow cooker has a stone pot which is very sturdy ( I accidentally droped it while opening and it still didnt crack). The cooking modes are limited to warm, low and high but I made a saag with black beans cooked overnight and it was killer. The instrument itself is made rugged so It can stay on for more than 24 hr and still will not have any issues.

You can just throw everything in one pot and just wait, simple as that. Doesn’t have that many features but is nice and it also fits a lot, was enough for my whole family. It is more compact and taller instead of being wide. It still has the same cooking capability and can hold a large piece of meat and the fixings. 3 settings, from cooking high or low and also a warm setting. I love the look of it and the space it saves me. Perfect to come home to a great meal already done.

I could make a big batch and freeze it, but even then I either get tired of it or forget it’s in there. Enter this!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this slow cooker. 4 quarts is exactly the right size for slow cooking a 2 pound chicken and it's so tender after 4 hours. I used it for homemade Mac and cheese and it was exactly the right amount for a family of 4 (2 teenagers and Mom and Dad.) The cooker is small so it's water to store and the cleanup was super easy. This opens up a whole new meal plan and I love everything Hamilton Beach!!

The lid fits good and keeps the steam from escaping too much . High gets really good and hot and low works great too! Chili, queso, Soups, stews, roasts.. there is no limit to what you can cook . The crock is nice and heavy and sturdy! Easy to clean and easy to store.

I absolutely love the upright shape of this slow cooker as opposed to the longer, flatter versions that I normally use. Easily fits a 4lb chicken to make a delicious stock, and when that's cooked and shredded, easily fits the noodles as well. Superb design. Has the usual heat settings of high, low and warm, and definitely will not heat up your kitchen. The upright design makes storage much easier than most slow cookers. Another great use is making homemade pasta sauce. I grow my own tomatoes and instead of standing at the stove and stirring every 15 minutes, I can easily cook my sauce in here for as many hours as needed which also saves on the gas bill. This slow cooker easily fits enough food for a 4 to 5 family dinner. The design is what I'm highly recommending it for.
