[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The crockpot had just one dial to turn on and off. It had three temperature settings and latches to secure the lid on. I did not use the latches while cooking but it is a great thing to use while traveling with it in my car. The warm setting was helpful to have when we were just waiting for people to arrive. I felt the crockpot cooked well and the outside of the unit was not too hot to the touch. Overall it is a great size to cook a small roast or a chicken.

I made this recipe for my parents since they needed someone to help make them dinner, and with the lid that is held down with some clamps, it transports easily to another location without you having to worry about making a mess in your car or someone's lap. Plus, the red beans and rice came out perfect.

It has a nice large capacity to hold roasts, pork loins for pulled pork, large chickens and other meats. I also like the clip-tight lid that is held firmly in place if you’re transporting the slow cooker with food already in it. The stoneware insert and the clear glass lid fit nicely in the dishwasher for fast and easy cleanup. The handles seem heavy duty and sturdy for carrying the slow cooker. Party recipes and name tags are included which are nice when fixing something for a party. I have made some pulled pork in the slow cooker and it came out very well and probably used less electricity than cooking the pork in the oven on a low temperature for 6 or more hours. Having some sort of slow cooker is a great kitchen tool and I like this oval shape and 6 quart capacity better than 5e original round brand of slow cookers as this is more versatile and larger. Even though I mostly use the cooker at home, I really like the way the lid handles attach so the lid can’t fall off so the clip-tight lid is one of my favorite features. I recommend this Hamilton Beach Stay or Go 6-Quart Slow Cooker!

This crockpot is the perfect size no matter what I'm cooking. It heats quickly and maintains its temperature the whole time I'm cooking. I especially love that the lid locks on for transporting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As far as being a crock pot they all function basically the same. What set this one apart is the great lid and clamps. It has a very impressive gasket around the lid which will prevent leaks but the clamps are what make it special. This isn't a cheap strap around a couple of hooks, this crockpot has clamps which latch the cover in place, no chance it will slip off and spill the contents.

It’s super easy to use , I love the old school dial setting . I really appreciate the way the lid suctions down onto the crockpot. I would definitely recommend this . It’s big so it’s gets heavy but that’s to be expected. The clips on the sides that hold the lid down onto the crockpot are fantastic ! I was able to travel with this in my car and didn’t spill a drop .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Cooker and was anxious to use it. II decided to do a batch of chili because it was very cold here in Montana. The 6 QT capacity was a plus along with that it could be removed for cleaning. I gathered the ingredients and began making the chili. I used a liner in the cooker so cleanup would be easy. After I have cooked the meat I added everything I put in my chili. There was plenty of space for everything with room for expansion. I followed the enclosed instruction, very clear about warming the cooker before adding the ingredients and leaving room for expansion.

The dial control makes it very easy to use. I like that the vented lid clips shut tightly to avoid spills. It also makes it very easy to transport food. This is very easy to clean. The only thing I didn't like was that I felt that the cord could be a little longer. Other than that, no complaints at all.
