Won't hold charge - quit working in less than 1 yr
Received as a gift. Stopped holding a charge in less than a year. Unable to get any replacement as I don't have proof of purchase. Appears other have similar charger issues. Would not buy this product.

DO NOT BUY
Trimmer stopped working within two months. Shut off abruptly despite being fully charged. Recharged to make sure it wasn’t a battery issue and the power button does not work.

Mostly a fail
Doesn't trim as well as other trimmers I have. I have used it for several months. No, it doesn't get better. MUST remove trimmer length attachment frequently to remove built-up hair. Attachment tines are sharp-ish and rather annoying. Length dial just fell off for no reason yesterday. Easy to replace - but now the 'stops' are missing: turning it up to, say, 10, is possible, but the lightest touch on the top of the trimmer (which of course happens when one uses it) drops the attachment from 10 to 0 immediately. Disappointed.

Exact same issue as Michael914. Cant trust this trimmer and at the price it cost its totally UNACCEPATBLE!

Great features but lasted only 1 year
Loved my Braun series 7 until it stopped charging. Now I just have a beautiful razor that is very much non functional. I don’t know if the charger stopped working or it’s an issue with the razor. After a little more than 1 year, this is very disappointing.

Cheap plastic
Dial broke in its case. Trimmer is now useless because the whole point of this product is its different size guide.

Prone to accidental beard destruction
The dial-a-height mechanism is flimsy and prone to misalignment. So you’re in a rush and poof, you lost shaved a 1.5 inch runway on your beard because the head was misaligned and shaved at zero height. Regardless what the dial is set to, if it’s misaligned it will destroy your beard. Works fine otherwise, too bad I can’t buy fixed sized trim heads.

Poorly designed trimmer attachment - watch out
I use this for trimming a full beard. It has an attachment which, when installed, allows you to dial the shaver head depth and establish your beard length. The attachment or guide snaps into place, but three time now it has misaligned. Each time that happens it cuts so close an leaves a divot in my beard. I think the attachment and mis-aligns when it's placed in the kit bag where I store it. It's so frustrating, today I had to shave my beard off completely and start again, when I tried to trim I got a deep gouge that was too deep too cover up. I do NOT recommend this product.

No Replacement Chargers
I love the trimmer but I lost my charger for it and have been unable to find any replacement for it. None of the chargers online fit this model. Good trimmer but impossible to find replacement parts.

Poor design for beard trimming
I bought this to replace an older model that worked great for my main need--trimming my beard down from about 3 weeks of growth to 1 week of growth. My old model worked great for this purpose--my beard ended up totally even all over. But this model has a different design on the beard trimmer plastic attachment, and it's nearly impossible to trim one's beard evenly all around your face. One section ends up with about 4 days of growth, and another 8 days of growth. It's super difficult to avoid this issue with this trimmer. I've tried twice now, and despite paying much closer attention to how I trim my beard given the poor design, I still couldn't trim it evenly at all. I'm very disappointed with this trimmer.

Replaceable Battery?
I'll write a review after I buy one, which I will do if the battery is replaceable. A lifetime warranty on blades, etc., is only impressive if the product lifetime is longer than that of an integrated AA battery. Does anyone know the answer to this? A picture would be great.

I have the nine series I’ve had it for about a year and a half and I love it. Extremely versatile high-quality materials works great pretty much a solution for all your grooming needs. I have been buying cheaper ones and they would just break not work right I decided to get a good one and this one is.

Replaced my 20 year old Braun. I didn’t realize I needed this until I bought it. Such an upgrade. Perfect for short stubble. Hight quality, great features, great charge. Not part of this review, Braun, if you had a premium edition that’s made purely out of stainless and such, I’d definitely buy it.

Not a good product at all.
I purchased the Braun Series 9 13-in-1 kit and I was excited to have a premium product. This is the opposite of premium. The adjustable guard is design so poorly that even the smallest amount of hair gets jammed inside of it and you have to remove the guard, shake out the hair, then put the guard back on to continue trimming. If you are shaving yourself to a 0, this trimmer might work. But the adjustable accessories are borderline useless. What is a 15 minute trim on any other trimmer takes 30+ minutes with this thing.

No Instructions
Hard to find a 5 star review where it was not paid for. Comes with a lot of extras but not all that they show in the description. I did not get what I paid for. Also, there are NO instructions in the manual.
