The wood is not a very sturdy or hardy wood for the table to
I was a little disappointed upon arrival of the garden table as it was not made of a hardy or sturdy wood. Some of the screws and nuts fit together and I had to purchase new ones to complete my assembly. Since the wood was a fir type wood I had to stain it and sealed it to preserve it. I do enjoy the design of the table and once I stained it looks great!

Sad to say I can't recommend
I really liked the style of this bench. So much so that I kept it despite receiving it with a fracture in the wood. A little work to assemble, I also painted it and treated it for weather but unfortunately the wood on the table top portion still ended up splitting. It's a shame as I also spent a bit of time leveling the upper back portion (wanted to lean forward) and fixing the wobble to use as porch decor cabinet
