My wife and I both bought these boots for hunting. They are light and comfortable to wear. They are not warm though. Even at 40 degrees my feet get uncomfortable.

Bought a pair of Arctic Sports over 10 years ago and today they finally gave up. I wore them every winter for hunting, ice fishing, work, snow removal and any other activity you'd do in winter boots. They are warm and kept my feet dry. The only downside is that my feet like to sweat and these boot obviously don't breathe well. I've worn them in -40 degrees up to 50 degrees. They are comfortable and easy to walk around in. They are true to size but leave enough room for thick socks or the occasional hand warmer when my sweaty feet got chilled. Take care of them and they'll last!

These boots are very warm however, I have had 4 pair of these, and each and every one cracks, at the toe crease. Im gonna have to give these 3 stars because they always last less than one year.

Bought these a couple of years ago to work with horses, and needed them only when the snow was deep ~ only had to use them maybe a dozen times, a couple of hours each time, kept inside and clean, but there is a 3/4" split in the liner at the back of the heel, chaffing and irritating ~ for the price and the supposed quality I expected more ~ I have a pair of 8" that I've worn for almost 5 years, extensively around horses and no problems like this ~ have to find a cure of some kind, as they're almost new otherwise, and too costly to waste

    Warm but NOT Waterproof

Bought these December 2022 for the long cold Alaska winter. The boots performed well throughout the winter in keeping my feet warm during the continuous snow blowing due to our snowy winter. No complaints at all in the warmth department. Spend hours in -20 temps with only a pair of medium wool socks and my feet were perfectly warm. Fast forward to winter break-up season ... while loading snow machines onto a trailer, I had to stand in an ankle-high puddle of melted snow and found out that these boots are NOT waterproof as advertised. I could feel trickles of the cold snowy water coming into my boots, which can be very dangerous in our climate here as the moisture/water can lead to frostbite. If you're going to use these boots in frigid temps and on hard-pack, they'll perform great. If using around any snowmelt or water, I'd reconsider.

    WET FEET

Nice boots. I've been wearing them since November. Comfortable, lots of grip on snow and ice, but right from the start I've had wet feet after walking in snow. I have to dry them out every night which is unacceptable, especially in a cold climate. Too bad, but my pair must have been made on a Friday afternoon. For this price a person should be guaranteed a waterproof boot. 1 star

Purchased these boots last spring. Have not given them heavy use but there is a small leak as the toe seam so the inside gets wet. Not a good thing in cold weather. Contacted customer sirvice they stated I need to go to orgonal stoor I purchased for warranty. I purchased from a location over an hour away. If they didn't leak these would be 5 stars. I believe it is a manufacturer defect because no other signs of damage and almost no where to the boots.

    Warmer than most

Tried a pair of these out hunting in Alberta, -18c with a nasty wind. Using Darn tough heavy weight full cushion wool socks. After constant seasons of freezing my toes and trying different boot brands to keep my feet warm I stumbled across these. I hiked about 8km in deep snow today, the insole is not the most comfortable. But these aren't technically hiking boots either. They stayed warm the whole hike and surprisingly allowed my feet to breathe a bit. Will be trying a different insole if these are removable. My second test, same day same conditions. Hunting in a blind for 3 hours using a fresh pair of dry wool socks as mention above. Sitting with little to no movement. My feet began to get cold near the end of the sit around 2.5 hours in. The cold was being drawn up from the bottom sole of the boot. After the full 3 hours was complete my feet were quite cold but not to the point of being frozen (everyone knows what i mean) they were at the point right before your toes start to ache. After a 15min hike back to the truck surprisingly my feet had warmed up. If this had been any other boot my feet would take atleast an hour to warm back up even with the hike All in all these boots were warmer than most, maybe look at the artic pro for warmer performance if you are in weather conditions like myself

I have owned these for two seasons. My feet would always get cold with every pair of boots I tried for ice fishing. These boots keep my toes warm for the whole day on the ice and they are so comfortable whether I'm fishing in one spot or moving around all day. Great product.

Love these arctic sport boots. Great for spring, winter and fall in northwestern Ontario. No slipping, no leaks and your feet stay very warm. When temps drop to around minus 30 you might want to add an extra pair of wool socks but that's expected with most boots.
