A: Our Aussie Instant Freeze Hair Spray formula has changed from the current water-based hairspray formula to a formula very similar to the ethanol-based hairsprays. The new formula hair sprays will not have water listed as first ingredient.

Bad sprayers
I’ve used this spray for years. Over the past several months I have had to throw away numerous cans because their spray does NOT work. I’m now done!

Aussie Instant freeze aerosol hair spray
I love this hairspray and have used it for years. However out of the last 10 cans I phrased at the same store, only 2 cans were usable to bottom of can. The other 8 worked for a short bit then quit spraying. I f gd ave to throw almost full cans of hairspray in the trash. Once used the store would not let me return or exchange. Please help! I love this product.

New formula is a gummy mess!
Unfortunate new formula change. I've used the non-aerosol version of Instant Freeze for nearly a decade. Loved it! I just received a bottle of 'new formula'. Hate it! It is literally a non-functional, sticky, gooey, gelatinous mess that sits on your hair like a clump of glue that never dries. If you used the 'old' version of this product, you'll be able to id the new version by it's different scent, and of course by the clump of gooey, watery, mess that's sitting on your head.

I also can not use the new Instant Freeze Aerosol Spray any more. No longer Instant Freeze. Too wet and foaming. Does not dry when sprayed like it use to. I hope you go back to your old formula.

The formula change is horrible
I have used Aussie Instant Freeze for years and it was FABULOUS! I recently made a 4 can purchase and realized immediately that it was NOT the same. It doesn't hold AT ALL. When you spray it on it feels wet then nothing! I am now on the search for a new brand and have already tried a few but it's like throwing my money in the trash! I am now the proud owner of 8 different hairsprays that don't work. I am begging Aussie to return to the original formula! Why change something that worked so well? Highly irritated about this!!

Bring Back Original Aussie Instant Freeze
It took me years to find a hairspray that actually held my hair well. I found that in Aussie's Original Instant Freeze. Now I have to find a new hairspray because the new formula does absolutely nothing for my hair. Please go back to the first formula. You are losing so many customers over this horrible change.

NEW Aussie instant Freeze
I have been using the "OLD" Aussie Instant Freeze hair spray for many years and have been very happy with it. The "NEW" Aussie Instant Freeze hair spray sprays on wet, making my hear look greasy and it does not hold. Not happy with it at all, wish the OLD version was still available.

My favorite hairspray to date for encouraging my wavy hair. Not sticky and actually keeps my hair the way I put it. It can take a minute to dry, but I don’t mind that. It’s not a bad trade off for the hold and price. I have been able to use the diffuser with it to get extra volume and it turns out great!

Aussie Freeze Hairspray changed for the worse
Have been buying instant freeze hairspray for 20 some years, but unfortunately had to switch to another since Aussie changed the formula. I bought a 2 pack of the "new" instant freeze hairspray and it left my hair wet and not a freeze hairspray at all! Soo disappointed, but luckily found another I'm pleased with. Sorry Aussie.

New Formula Fail
A couple of months ago I would give this product a 5. I have been using it for 10+ years and it is the only hairspray I use to keep my curls defined. Aussie has since changed the formula for this product and it is useless, it is not "instant freeze" it is just like any other hairspray with little hold. I no longer recommend this product and really hope Aussie will bring back the old formula.
