Smaller than it looks, it looked ok, then after placing on the door it is much smaller than it looks. The hooks are also very close together. Going to have to find a different use for it, too small for backpacks or coats or even towels.

Addition to product measurement description

The width of the part that goes over the door is 1 3/4 inch, and the thickness is almost 2/8 inch. Most product descriptions don't include that for some reason. Works well. Doesn't stick out too far.
