I’ve looked at numerous brands when it comes to Dutch ovens and this one is perfect if you’re wanting something high quality yet affordable. The color and enamel finish is just gorgeous, and it feels very sturdy and well-made. Easy to clean and heats up evenly. The oval shape fits well on the stove if you have a large single burner. It’s the perfect size for roasting a small chicken.

    Not only a great color - also a great Dutch oven !

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been the perfect size for the two of us. It heats evenly, things aren’t sticking to it and it didn’t need to be preseasoned ! I was especially impressed at how easy it was to clean. The food came off easily /‘d because it isn’t porous it didn’t soak up the red from the soup in the picture. No stains, no sticking. Seriously the quickest cleanup compared to so much of my cookware! I just used a mild soap and a sponge and all the food came right off. Be sure you hand wash this to keep it beautiful. Don’t use anything that would be abrasive for scrubbing (honestly, you won’t need to). Another perk - rhe handles and lid handle didn’t get so hot that I couldn’t touch them. I’ve noticed with some they get so hot you can burn yourself- not this one. I see us using this for things we want to go stovetop to oven. I’m looking forward to making some bread in it too! Perfect for 2 people!

    Heirloom quality product

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dutch oven is heavy duty. This is the type of product that (with care) could last you a lifetime. The exterior is gorgeous. I am so glad that i selected the purple color. Exceeded my expectations. Immediately after washing it i made a pot roast - i mean how else are you supposed to react? It was 10/10. The meat and vegetables absorbed almost all of the liquid. It was just so juicy and it was the kind of meal that clings to your bones. It held everything perfectly. I can’t imagine needing a larger dutch oven than this one. After the meal came the real job, How does it clean up? Surprisingly - super well and very easily. No stains or marks left behind. Was very impressed with that.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this BergHOFF Cast Iron 5qt Oval Dutch Oven for free in exchange for my honest review. I really love the blue color as it somewhat matches my other cookware. It cooks evenly and quickly on the stove with ease. The heavy lid fits securely plus the handles are easy to hold. I have been using it quite a bit during the cold weather, finding recipes for stews, curries and chili to make. The size is a little too large for me, but I can food prep and freeze leftovers which is a great timesaver. Plus the enamel coating makes it easy to clean after use. I haven’t owned a Dutch Oven before, but very impressed with the quality and how easy it is to use. .

My soup simmered beautifully and left it with an even heat throughout. The enamel is a gorgeous green color and the maintenance is suggested hand washing to maintain the enamel. High quality.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always wanted and absolutely love my new BergHOFF Dutch Oven. It is my favorite piece of cookware. Not only is it in a beautiful shade of purple, but is made with high-quality enameled cast iron. I have the 3qt size which I find perfect for making small batches of soup, boiling, searing meats, and I’m happy to say worked perfect for my “famous” chicken wing dip 🤣. I really enjoy using the smaller 3qt size because the larger cast iron pieces can be so heavy for me. If you are looking for a Dutch oven for your kitchen, you will love BergHOFF. I know it will be a favorite in my kitchen for years to come.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a nice piece of cookware. This is an enameled cast-iron piece. It is a dream to cook with. It heats up evenly and doesn’t stick. Cast-iron is very durable and when cared for properly can last for years. You will want to avoid using metal tools as it can scratch away at the enamel. I like that you can use it on the stove top or in the oven, which makes it very versatile. it also comes with a lifetime limited manufacture warranty. I am beyond thrilled with it.

It is nice and heavy, very high quality. I have used it for a variety of dishes and it is a great pot to cook with. I have used it on the stovetop and in the oven and it has performed great both ways. It cooks evenly. The heavy lid sits securely holding in heat and moisture so food doesn't dry out. Plus it is just so pretty and it cleans up like a dream. It is a good size to cook smaller dish for the two of us or a little more if a few friends or family stop by. I love it.

I like the size it’s just right for my little family. I’ve been looking up different recipes for things to try like soups, braised meats, bread, desserts, you name it. It’s temperature controlled with the lid on and you cook right on your stove top or you can put it in the oven. It’s very sturdy and pretty easy to clean. Tonight’s meal is chili.
