Bentgo Kids Chill keeps your child’s lunch perfectly cool until it’s time to eat. The unique leak-proof design includes an optional built-in ice pack that nests below the bento-style compartment tray. Simply place the ice pack in the freezer overnight and pop it into the lunchbox on days you want to keep food chilled on the go. When it’s not necessary to keep food cool, just skip the ice pack. My kids love the original bentgo chill box but their growing appetites made us really excited to try this larger version. The chill max is as great as the original with a moveable divider bonus. The built in ice pack in the max chill can nest under the ice pack of the chill for efficient freezer space. Hoping you will sell lids and extra trays for the chill max so we can pack our lunch the night before and store in the fridge.

The lunchbox stays cold for my sons lunch and seals really well if he takes something like carrots and ranch. And despite it sealing well it is still easy to open for little hands.

This was my kids first time using this Bentgo box with chill pack. I’ve always used the standard one. I really like the built in ice pack. It’s a little difficult opening and closing the lunch container the reason for 3 stars. But overall we like it. And I like the compartments it has in this one. I will probably purchase more for my other two kids in the future.

My daughter complains about the food mixing together from the compartments. We didn't have this problem with the non chill lunch containers. I also noticed these are harder to seal shut.

There’s a lot to like about this bento box, but I do have a couple of dislikes. First, the insert is slightly finicky and you have to get it just right when putting it in the bigger box. This morning when I opened it to put the ice pack in, the insert was stuck to the top of the outer case. I do like that an ice pack is included, but it doesn’t seem cold enough and I end up putting a separate ice pack on the top to keep things cold enough.

I bought several of the Bentgo with the chill and without. They leak but it claims that it doesn’t leak. The food does not stay in the individual compartments. If the bentgo is in your lunch box and stands vertical the food will get mixed. Most lunch bag have the be tho vertical. I have not tried the snap and go but it does not have a chill.

My daughter started Kindergarten and she liked the bento boxes. I was looking how to keep bento boxes cold and I saw that it had a freezer part. We love it. It’s dishwasher safe and easy to use!

This is the third one that I but, it is excellent size and beautiful model but one day my daughter left it in her backpack for only 2 days and it was so moldy, I tried to wash it several time and I couldn’t removed it so I ended up getting rid of that. It is kind of expensive so be careful with that

I wanted to love this but it just doesn’t work for my daughter. I bought the chill mini and the xl chill but both have the same issues. The tray and ice pack seem to create some sort of suction and it’s almost impossible to get them open. She has commented that if she lets it warm up it seems easier to open but she really doesn’t have the time to wait.

I have many Bentgo Chill products, where I pack lunches the evening before, and pop the ice pack in in the morning. I have found with the mini, without the ice pack underneath to hold the food tray in place, the tray will suction to the lid and the lunchbox cannot be opened. The only solution we have found is to use a spoon to break the suction, which is not the easiest to do. If you pack your lunch in the morning, this shouldn't be an issue for you.
