Q: Does it allow you to add a 9 and a 1 before the area code and number for the pre programmed buttons? My 90 yo old Aunts assisted living requires the 9,1 to dial out.

Press Menu/Select button on the cordless handset. 2. Press the arrow down to scroll to Direct memory, then press Menu/Select. 3. Press the arrow down to scroll through M1-M8, then press Menu/Select twice. 4. Use the dial keypad to enter the phone number, then press Menu/Select If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

If you have pulse (rotary) service, you need to change the dial mode to pulse dialing before using the telephone. It also extremely durable and you do not to worry about dropping it. The ringers and announcement are VERY loud so if you are hard of hearing or in another part of the house you will still hear it ringing and announcing the calls. I love that you are able to put photos of contacts in the phone making it very easy for my older parents to quickly place a call to their favorite people. The only downside I had with this phone was the color. I would have preferred it in a fun color and not in white. This is a great product for any senior home and I would recommend it to anyone!

The battery holds its charge for a very long time. It’s a great phone system for an elderly person. I still haven’t had a chance to print small photos to put on the main base, but it’s such a wonderful idea. I plan to do it very soon.

My mother has gotten to where she can't remember to charge her cell and her cell has become too difficult to navigate. This phone works great by allowing her to place a call with the push of one button. I was able to put my picture in so she can see who she is calling. I like the larger print numbers, no need for reading glasses. The phone has a user manual that comes with it as there are many features to set up and use. I also found videos online to show you how to set it up. Great phone.

The design is very impressive. I cannot report on the sound since I can't get it to work yet. The phone looks very durable and I like the idea of if your cell is charging maybe you could have used this phone. I really can't comment on the battery life either. Either way I'm still trying to see if you can use it like that. Bonus the numbers are big for us seasoned people.
