Good dark roast
First time trying this blend and would highly recommend for those who like a dark roast. I typically find them too burnt to my liking but this was smoother than expected.

Delicious coffee
I’ve always wanted to try this coffee that all the Chicago folks rave about so was so excited to see it available for delivery on the Target app. It did not disappoint. From the moment I opened the bag I knew I was in for a treat. The aroma is heavenly and these beans make a rich and smooth cup of coffee.

My favorite coffee, but...
…Metropolis Coffee, who roasts it, has pretty inconsistent quality these days. Sometimes you’ll get a fantastic bag, others it’ll be like a French roast that has in-turn been burnt to a crisp. When it’s roasted just right, this blend is meant to be somewhere between a medium and dark roast, with prominent cherry, hazelnut, and chocolate notes. It also gives a TON of crema coming out as a shot. But once again, expect to return a few bags, you’re gonna get some that just don’t taste right. Make a visit to the coffee house on green st too, they’ve got some great, inventive drinks there.
