WEAK thumb crotch. . . .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these gloves but the knit at the thumb crotch is very, very poor. . . comes apart very quickly. thankfully, my wife knits and adds some additional yarn to the spot for strength. Wear well otherwise, best around 30 degrees.

Favorite Winter Gloves

Insulated Wool Leather Palm Glove
They seem very well made, and warm for gloves. They run a bit small to my reference point for gloves. I ordered a pair of these in Large, and a pair of the version with grippy palms and fingers (vs leather) in X-Large. The Large was too small and tight to wear comfortably in really cold conditions. My hands run between medium and large for most glove sizing. You may need to offer a XX-Lge as well as the current X-Lge for bigger hands and thicker/longer fingers. I gave these to my daughter to use this winter.

Great gloves, great price!
In my 70 years of winter experience, lined woolen gloves with leather facings are "hands down" the best. Yet this sort of glove is extremely hard to find. The workmanship in these RefrigiWear gloves appears to be very good, and they're already proving themselves warm here in Maine. AND they are available in XL, which is virtually unheard-of in the marketplace, but is critical for my big hands. I even like the green color, which no other glove maker offers. I'm going to order two more pairs "just in case. "

Tips still cold
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All in all its a nice glove. I'm using them for winter trail walks and bike rides, not for work. They are very comfortable, soft and cozy even. After 20-30 minutes you start to feel your fingertips just start to get that cold tingle, I can't remember the exact temp but the pond had thin ice, so, 30 ish.

Insulated wool leather palm gloves for cycling
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a pair of these to try for use walking and biking in weather near freezing. I've found that they keep my (cold) hands comfortable in (dry) weather down to around freezing when I'm on a bike, and into the 20s when I'm not. I have narrow hands with long fingers - I ordered a Large, but might try an XL if I did it over again, as my fingertips hit the ends of the glove.
