Age 69, and sometimes watches with this many features can be a little intimidating. But for the most part I have been able to navigate through the features. Some are still a mystery but i usually go to Garmin site and am able to figure out. 4 star because I don’t see any value in the solar, it doesn’t charge my watch battery at all. If it shows I have 23 h left in power, it can be in direct sunlight for hours and battery life still decreases. I have to charge manually about every 3rd day. The accuracy of altitude is very good as is GPS, heartbeat, but temperature I am not sure if it’s reading my phone temp or outside temperature. I having tried a lot of the other features yet.

Garmin pay bank pay options are very slim! No major Canadian banks on the list. Also, limited to no Visa?

I BOUGHT THIS JULY 4TH WEEKEND, WATCH DIED JULY 18TH, SO IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU 40 DAYS OF BATTERY LIFE. I WOULD THINK THE 40 DAYS OF BATTERY LIFE COMES INTO PLAY WHEN YOU HAVE NOTHING ON YOUR WATCH OTHER THAN TIME. WHATEVER ELSE IS ON THE WATCH FACE, NEEDS TO BE TURNED OFF FOR IT TO LAST MORE THAN 3 WEEKS.

Loving it so far! Perfect look, fit, and functionality for my needs - and the built-in 'torch' is my favorite feature now as it saved my head from colliding with a large Cypress tree during a recent nighttime river float trip lol.

It’s a great watch. I have several automatic watches. A G Shock Mudman and this one is getting worn a lot. Its data is easy to read a customize. It gives me the meat and potato’s from my phone. “You’re getting a call / text” without dumping all my info out there. I’m happy with it. Its large face does not wear large. The built in green/white flashlight is cool

I bought this earlier this month and have been wearing it every day for the last 2-3 weeks. I have not charged it on the charger. Took it out of the box and got it set up and synced with other stuff and that is it. Just normal use and activity in Florida and the solar charging has kept a steady pace with daily drain. I did set it up with the highest setting (most draining) for location and GPS. I have had about 5 days of mostly travel, indoor activity and stormy weather and I am just now at 11 days before charge. It is the perfect size so that the screen is easy to ready and toggle through the menus. I love the torch feature and have used that on a couple of occasions already. The health meters seem to be more accurate than my previous smart watch. Steps, sleep and heart rate are easy to track on both the watch and Garmin Connect. I have not even come close to using other functions yet and already feel like this is a must have for anyone who wants to do more than just track health stats. Looking forward to hiking, kayaking and other more rigorous outdoor activities.

I’ve had this watch sunset the 2x dropped and have worn it every day since. Stands up to the test of both construction work and military training. However, the only two gripes I have are the green light instead of red doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. Also, the watch stopped syncing with connect app after about a year even after following garmin troubleshooting tips.

I was really happy to get a very tough, sharp-looking smart watch to replace my Apple Watch. I was worried it would not be as compatible with the iPhone, but that is not the case. The Garmin keeps very good track of all the health data I like to use and is more advanced than the programming on the Apple Watch. From sleep tracking to the body battery metric, there are many other options that the iOS technology does not offer. Although this watch is not touchscreen, it is the perfect balance of a smartwatch that has a normal watch feel and function. The other impressive feature is the solar charging. I bought my watch three weeks ago and still have not charged it! It’s a solid watch that you will be very surprised with its capabilities. I have not used even half of the functions on this watch and can’t wait to find out more!
