Description

Complete fabric repairs and garment projects with the Janome 2212 Sewing Machine. It offers a dozen stitch types to choose from, as well as reverse stitching and a four-step button hole function. Select your stitch easily using the rotary dial. The included interchangeable feet further expand capabilities, allowing you to complete blind hemming and zig-zags. This mechanical sewing machine also has a built-in cutter to end lengths of thread for a clean finish. A light illuminates the work area for a clearer view. The Janome sewing machine has many other convenient features such as a front-loading bobbin, a free arm, a pair of retractable spool pins, a drop feed and a five-piece feed dog. Manual tension control adjustable stitch length keeps stitches consistently even and tight so pieces of fabric stay securely attached. This is a versatile machine and suitable for all types of sewing.

Q: What is meant by "front load bobbin"? Where on the machine is it located?

A: As opposed to a bobbin that is dropped into the bed of the machine under the needle plate, a "front load bobbin" is installed in the front facing arm of the machine. You don't see it when facing the machine because it's hidden within the arm, but it's easy to access by simply pulling down matching flap.
