Verde Farms Organic Grassfed Strip - 10oz

The packaging looked fresh and well-sealed, and I loved that it’s USDA organic, grass-fed, and raised without antibiotics or added hormones. When I opened it, the steak had a nice color. I kept it simple and seasoned with herbs and garlic powder plus salt, and it cooked nicely with a good sear. The texture was tender enough, though not the most buttery ribeye I’ve ever had. Paired with fried plantains, it was a really flavorful meal. The steak held up well and had a rich taste that worked perfectly with the sweetness of the plantains. Overall, this is a solid option if you’re looking for a cleaner, organic cut of beef. It may not be the most premium ribeye in terms of tenderness, but it delivers good flavor and quality for an everyday meal. I would definitely consider buying it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a steak lover, and this strip from Verde Farms was absolutely one of the tastiest steaks I have had in a long time. It's all organic and made from grass fed cows. The thickness made it easy for a perfect medium rare with a burst of flavor from the marinade and especially the steak. Not a lot of fat so it was tender, the texture wasn't grainy or full of fat. I loved this review and would love to try more of Verde Farms fresh and very healthy meats, you should try them as well.

I didn't get the beef

Do not purchase. We purchased 4 of them. The smell was awful! We still cooked them just in case “grass fed” contributed to the smell. One bite and we threw them all away- they were all rancid!

The taste and smell was horrible. We threw them in the garbage.

I found that the cut that I had , had extra fat/was a little gummy (hence the 1 star off). It cooked really well in my cast iron and overall tasted really good.

I wasn’t sure what to expect since it came vacuum sealed vs getting it fresh from the market but it was very tender and flavorful! I love that it has a bit of a longer shelf life since it’s vacuum sealed, it helps when life gets busy and I have to push back meal plans. I’ll definitely be purchasing these again!

I did cook my steak medium rare. If you enjoy clean, ethically-sourced beef with deep flavor and don’t mind it being a bit leaner than grain-fed, this is a solid choice. Great for health-conscious or environmentally-aware eaters.

I loved the individual, vacuum-sealed packaging, which keeps the steak fresher for longer. I kept it simple and just cooked my steak in a cast iron pan, with garlic and butter and seasoned the steak itself with a little Himalayan salt. I cooked it to a medium temperature and allowed it to rest before cutting into it. It was absolutely perfect! The knife glided right through, and the steak was so tender and juicy and had such great flavoring. There was a little bit of fat on the edge, which rendered beautifully. You can definitely taste the difference in this beef that comes from cows raised without antibiotics or hormones, allowed to free graze in open pastures. The quality was amazing, and the price was excellent too! I’ll definitely be buying again!
