I love love love this detergent, but I wish it was available in a larger size too. Due to my family’s allergies, we switched from the original Tide formula to the free & clear one but didn’t get the same cleaning results and noticed premature color fading of fabrics. Once this formula was released on the shelves, we made a second switch this one and have not been disappointed! This formula cleans 10x better than the original free & clear formula, doesn’t cause allergy/skin flare-ups and maintains the color/integrity of the washed fabrics. It’s even gentle enough for baby clothes. Get it and hopefully you won’t regret it!

Odd odor
I have bought this from other stores without any problems. It is my favorite detergent. I do not know if target had it stored incorrectly, but there is an odd odor I never detected from other store purchases.

Can make you itchy if you use too much.
I used the Tide Ultra Free from target religiously until it was replaced with this. I read the reviews and noted that some people had reactions and noticed extra suds. It seems like you just have to use much less or do an extra rinse. I usually only use about a tablespoon of detergent per load but I just moved to a new apartment with a new machine and I was was absentmindedly using gobs of detergent. When I started itching I remebered the reviews and I did an extra rinse cycle on everything previously washed and went back to using a tablespoon per load and the itching subsided. 2 stars because the recommended amount causes itching.
