Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

    I bought these items thinking they’d be decent for the price, but one pair ripped the very first time I wore them while bending. So, I can’t recommend this product. Based on reviews, I didn’t expect Target’s quality to have declined this much. I have to admit, these are below standard.     Missing underwear

    Order a large delivery mostly everything came inside of the big box. Completely fine. What's not fine is how the items inside where packaged. None of the clothing was either individually wrapped or folded, all clothing items looked like they were thrown on top. Now to the interesting part I ordered 2 packs of 3 boy boxers (6total) only received 5 boxers? Confused and odd. Package that boxers came in was obviously tampered with.

    The only boxers my son will wear & perfect for sensory children

    My 8 year old is on the spectrum and has many sensory needs so finding the perfect fitting/feeling clothing can be a challenge. I feel like we’ve tried every kind of boxer briefs and these are “the one”!! The cotton is super soft & the band is soft and comfortable too. We don’t dry so maybe that has helped but they do fit tts. He’s a size 7/8 and we ordered medium. I can’t recommend these enough and I always stock up when they run sales. You definitely can’t beat the price.
