Poor shipping methods ruined a good rug

This 9x12 rug was folded in thirds then in half again and loosely boxed for shipping. There are so many fold marks that the rug will not lay flat. I have consulted carpet professionals to see what it would cost to make the rug usable. So tired of the slap-bang shipping quality I’ve repeatedly experienced with Target (I’m also returning a tabletop lantern with cracked glass panels) I’m done hoping this situation will improve. I’m just….done.
