OtterBox Google Pixel 8 Pro Glass Screen Protection: Scratch & Bump-Resistant Cover

I am a very experienced installer of screen protectors. This is easily one of the worst I have ever worked with. It is also already peeling up in several spots after only being installed a few weeks ago.

I've dropped my phone and no damage due to OtterBox.

Had to take off and reinstall. Still haven't gotten all the bubbles out of it. The issue is with installation. First of all, the little tray they put with it that expands to hold your phone and make installation easier is a great idea in theory, but it isn't very stable and kept pushing the phone out when I tried to push it back together to hold the phone. Additionally, the little circle that you're supposed to hold down to peel the outer seal off after the protector is on the phone is in a horrible place. It looks like it could be a cutout/different material for where the under-screen finger print reader would be if the protector were placed on upside down. This caused me to turn the protector upside down since I thought I had it upside down when it was right side up. I realized my mistake as soon as I set it down and had to take the protector off and put it back on free-hand.

I feel confident with OtterBox screen protectors. It was easy to install, has a smooth feel to it and doesn't effect the touch screen on my phone.

My previous purchases for OtterBox screen protectors have been great, with excellent packaging and tools to apply the screen protector. This item is not like those. The packaging and tools for the Pixel 8 Pro screen protector were incredibly subpar, with a plastic alignment tray that has angled edges, allowing the phone to easily slip out. This is exactly what happened to me when I attempted to put the screen protector on my phone. Additionally, the plastic sticker that adheres to the screen protector would not come off the side that goes directly against the phone's screen without coming off the opposite side at the same time from the bottom. As I attempted to remove the stickers, the protector fell onto the phone, adhering immediately. Finally, dust seems to have already been on the protector under the stickers, and is now trapped underneath. The end result is a screen protector that's on my new phone at an obviously off-center angle with small bubbles and dust under the protector that will not come out.
