I have had B&D cordless trimmers for many years. They get the job done and have lasted me a long time.

I've purchased my third black and decker trimmer in 24 years and I can safely say they are built to last. My third one the 20v cordless trimmer is a work horse and the battery has been reliable and hard working. Strongly recommend this 20v black and decker trimmer.

This is a dependable trimmer. Light enough to carry but does the whole yard with no effort. Would strongly recommend this product!

Love my trimmer because it is so lightweight and handy.

I have used this for over 5 years with no serious issues. I've replaced the batteries but that is to be expected. As mentioned in other reviews it does fine on medium and less grass, but not so much on heavy items. I am downgradeing it one star because the auto feed has started not to work.

My wife and I find this trimmer to be mote than capable of completing the tasks we have for it around our yard. I easily cuts though 1/2 inch thistle and other weeds.

This is the 2nd one of these I have owned. Pretty much ran the first one into oblivion. This is light weight and easy to handle. The batteries on the first one lasted almost the entire 12 years I owned it. If the 2nd one is as good as the first one, I should have another 12 years of reliable weed eating. This will not disappoint.

What a Pc of junk with a capital J. I had my first wacker for 2 seasons, then after cutting for 4 or 5 feet it would quit, over and over. Decided it must be time for a new one. Brought one home from the store and the battery charger wouldn't work. Took it back and got a replacement. It worked almost 1 Summer (I have a small yard and only wack maybe twice a month).guess what? Same problem, only ran for a few feet at a time. I don't have time for this, I'm done

The trigger mechanism has repeatedly stopped engaging the button to activate the trimmer. I tried to fix it, but the inside is all made of cheap plastic. It simply bends away when the trigger depresses the button. Very poorly made. I will be transitioning away from the Black & Decker brand over this cheaply made item

Lawn and edge trimmer for 1/2 acre lot with 2 batteries. Held up very well for 8+ years. Had to do some repairs to the wheel bracket and forged ahead. Wheel attachment finally gave out after numerous repairs to strengthen where attached to the base of the unit. Will reinforce the new unit I bought today before using. Very pleased with this unit to weed whack 1/2 acre plus 11 gardens on the property.

The safety/trigger release dies. I am lucky if I can get one to last a full season. There has to be a more durable solution to turning it on and off. It kills me to think of the garbage created when I have to throw out a string trimmer once a year all due to the failure of this one part. You can’t even get them repaired. Otherwise, I love this trimmer. I use it about four hours a week in the summer. I just want to find a more durable version of this product.

Sheesh, people! Why must you make so flipping hard to SIMPLY find out what replacement spools I need to get for a LSTE522 / 523 / 525 20V Max Easyfeed Trimmer/Edger????? Your crap instructions that came with it FAIL to provide even a hint!!! Your crap details on this on-line page FAILs to provide a hint. PLEASE find the supervisory bright spot that thinks no one EVER, EVER, EVER might need such information, EVER - and find them some adult supervision!

The battery is not working, it won't charge up I tried a my old charger and it still doesn't work. So with out a battery my trimmer won't work!

The trimmer is good. the battery was not. I had a lot of trouble getting a replacement for it. I would never buy another thing from you because of this.

I am a 75 year old woman and love the trimmer. It is ergonomically correct for my height, 5’6” and I use it almost daily. It permits me to create and maintain the many curves defining my10 acres in the Pacific Northwest. In my recent purchase I bought two 12” trimmers so I can do more work in one day without overworking one trimmer.

The battery life stinks, only 10 minutes! I have Battery from 2016 that is only a 1.5 AmpH that last longer! The 2.0 AmpH you sent with it stinks! Love the weed eater! This is our 2nd one. First one lasted 8 years and stopped feeding line.
