Apple offers two main versions of their iPads: Wi-Fi models: These can only connect to the internet through a Wi-Fi network. Wi-Fi + Cellular models: These have all the features of the Wi-Fi models, but also include the hardware to connect to a cellular data network (like 5G), similar to a smartphone.
