Not scratch resistant :(

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this lock on perfect timing, just a few days before my trip. I was able to easily set it up, just followed the instructions that came with the package of locks. I had no issues during my trip but I did noticed that it got severally scratched during my departure flight and of course, got even more scratched on my return flight. That’s the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars and not 5, if you use this for a checked bag then the paint or coat is not going to last long. I guess that if it’s for a backpack it could last longer as long as you are careful. Not sure if TSA wanted to inspect my bag but if they did, they did not have any issues apparently.
