Why not buy another one?
Why would I buy the other one? From my perspective as a current owner and user, I have to say "don't buy it". Don't buy the other one. It may just be a "nice to have" (?). But this one is great, the quality is exactly what you would expect, and it is very well configured. It physically operates smoothly and quietly, and it will sound an alarm if something is wrong. The sensitivity can be blocked by a chipmunk if the door stops functioning. The reality of the system design is that the door does not move up and down like a normal door. Therefore, the unit will not stop moving up and down because the plastic gears are damaged and foreign objects are sucked in. I just replaced my normal door with this one. While this door is larger and you have to leave room for the hinge edge of the door, where I had a simple picture frame extension before, if you are replacing your door, you will have to make the hole larger. But understand that it is more valuable and convenient because of the larger opening; and the added bonus. Yes, more to love, and the integrity of the well-designed fully automatic system and its control panel that allows for 3 modes of operation and a remote control. And more; yes, more. It is solar powered. This was a choice I was unsure about because my coop is in the shade most of the day, with about 3-5 hours of shade and sunlight shining through the trees on the panels. There is about 1 hour of direct light between 5-6pm. The good part is that it totally keeps the battery charged all the time. It is green in the evening and red in the morning, but usually green in the early afternoon, and an hour of direct sunlight each night is enough to keep it fully charged. So. It works fine in the shade with little to no direct sunlight. I spoke briefly with the seller about the solar system and he answered all of my questions; giving me the ultimate confidence to buy. So glad I did. Last point. There is really no reason to buy another one.

Affordable price, high quality product
This worked exactly as advertised. It wasn't hard to assemble. One will do, but two would be smoother. The wire mesh is average quality. This product gets 5 stars for the good quality and the advertising. If you're looking for security, I'd recommend going with something made with hard cloth instead of wire mesh, but this tarp is great. Also, the tarp has been through a couple of severe thunderstorms and held up well. There are plenty of cable ties that you can use as recommended. I recommend wrapping the wire completely around the door instead of cutting it off at the edge/side of the latch. This will allow the door to operate smoothly. I know this product doesn't have the angled support bars in the corners, but it still feels very sturdy. It's pretty windy where I am, and it didn't show any signs of stress or bending, even in a storm. This is a great product at a good price.

Very happy
This product is absolutely perfect, I used up the wire mesh that came with it but that might just be because I also made a wire skirt to keep predators out and also used metal ties as I found the plastic ties too flimsy

Chicken coop C not a chicken coop.
The instructions were clear. My only problem was that it was so hard to install the wire. You will definitely need help. I had plenty of zip ties and even had extra wire. Sadly it was just enough for one area so the seams in the middle need to be reinforced to keep predators out. This is a chicken coop, not a chicken cage so keep that in mind. It does not prevent animals from burrowing underneath. I had to add metal cloth to the bottom.

Very easy to assemble
It was very easy to put together. All the poles were labeled which was great! The wire took a while to put on but with lots of zip ties it worked really well.

Designed by Chicken Farmer
It is very sturdy. The designer obviously had chickens. The square mesh covers the sides to keep predators out. The wire mesh covers the top to provide extra security in case the tarp tears. The tarp is sturdy though and unlikely to tear. There is little space around the door to keep out most predators. We are very happy with these sturdy door catches. Our chickens are very happy! They quickly found their favorite spot on the roost. Be sure to measure the length of wire carefully so you don't run out. We still have a few feet of wire left over, so as long as you are careful you can handle some minor mistakes or future repairs. Definitely a good choice. I recommend the peaked shape so that snow and rain don't weigh down the flat roof.

Good quality
The box packs quite a bit of stuff and I've never had a bad packing. I have to change the litter every 6 weeks. The litter slides in and out of the coop easily. Great quality!

Hens love them
Why choose this product over others? : Although the price is a bit high, the quality is great. We have tried different types of coop liners and our hens generally prefer this one. These liners are durable, they stay in good condition even after the hens scratch, fluff, and rearrange, and they are easy to remove and replace.

It's a cozy spot for hens to lay their eggs, and also a grea
These mats have been a cozy place for my hens to lay their eggs. They move the fibers around a bit to create a "nest" and they are super easy to clean up. I pick up the entire mat and knock it into the chicken compost bin to clean out the extra bits. When they have been used multiple times and are ready to be discarded, I compost the entire mat. They are easy to toss into the chicken coop and fit nicely. I also use them to transport the chickens when needed. I recently bought two pullets from a nearby farm and threw the mats into the dog crate so they have something to hold onto on my ride home - no mess at all!

Excellent results
This solar-powered automatic chicken coop door has revolutionized my flock! It opens and closes exactly with the sunrise and sunset, giving me peace of mind without having to manually check the coop every morning and evening to make sure the chickens are safe. Installation was easy and the included instructions were clear and concise. The solar panel charges efficiently, even on cloudy days, and the battery holds a good charge all night long. This door is durable, weatherproof, and built to withstand the elements, making it perfect for outdoor use. I especially like the built-in safety sensor that prevents the door from closing if a chicken is in the way. It's quiet, safe, and reliable. Whether you manage a small backyard flock or a large chicken coop, this door is a great investment for convenience and animal safety.

Great for brooding chicks
I totally get why this product is so popular. It's definitely one of the pricier ones out there, but it works amazingly and is easy to clean. The chicks have fun and so do the customers!

Will buy again!
Great quality. Fits perfectly into my nest box and is clean and low maintenance. I used to add litter to the nest box at least once a week. I used to get eggs broken a lot. Now I have almost no broken eggs and have had it for over 3 months and never had to change nest boxes.

Definitely worth the money.
We have had this coop for over a year now and I would definitely buy it again. It was very easy to assemble. We added sleepers to the bottom edge to keep predators out and make the coop more durable. We added a tin roof so I'm not sure how durable the tarp would be. The included wire mesh has worked great. The only thing we were not happy with was the door but we have since remodeled/renovated it to make it fit better and close tighter (since we actually use this coop for chickens and need it to be predator-proof). Considering the price, size, and ease of assembly, you really can't go wrong with this coop.

Easy to assemble
Super easy to put together for a woman. 15 minutes to read the instructions and remove the parts, 10 minutes to snap them together, and 1 hour to attach the wire without help and extra zip ties. It comes with a lot of stuff but I wanted it to fit perfectly. Make sure you follow the directions for the wire in the manual or it won't be enough. Put hardware cloth on the bottom and sides for at least more protection. The only thing I'm not too fond of is the latch. I used concrete blocks to make sure nothing can push/pull it open when I'm not there. It's sturdy, light, and can be moved by two people.

I will continue to buy these!
These mats are beautiful! They are so easy to use and replace. They smell clean and look beautiful when slightly fluffed up. Since the mats are square and the coop is rectangular, they are a little small for the chicken coop, but that is totally fine. My chickens love them too.

Great grow pen!
It's great! I have two ducks in the coop right now, and I'll move them out and put the turkeys in once they have ducklings. It's a great brooding pen. One tip: I have a wood fence around my pasture to keep predators out, so if I didn't have a solid outer protective fence, I would reinforce the fence with sturdy metal. The wire is plenty, and you just roll it from the bottom to the roof and then the other bottom. Then fill in the rest of the way. If I wanted to go through the bottom, I could, but I didn't do it so that my birds wouldn't hurt their feet when scratching. All in all, it has survived many spring and summer storms and kept my nesting hens from getting soaked at all. Definitely invest in some sturdy anchors. I set a pole in the ground in the middle of the pen and then used ratchet straps to secure it to the roof. It's a great purchase!

The predator proof extension for the chicken coop is awesome
Great quality and awesome customer service! I would absolutely buy again. A few notes... It did take a long time to get the wire fence up and make it a fortress for the chickens. Also, I ended up purchasing extra hardware cloth to put on the floor for more protection and reinforced the door frame so pests couldn't squeeze in. So far so good! I bought this to expand our chickens' run so that we could safely leave them there when we weren't home. They love it and seem to enjoy all the extra freedom when we can't let them roam in the yard. I like the peace of mind that it's harder for predators to get to them or their food at night which is exactly what I was hoping for, and I was impressed with how quickly the company fixed the missing ties in the packaging (the box was a little damaged and I think they dropped it). I would purchase from them again.

So far still holding up.
It's chicken wire so you know you'll need hard cloth too. This will keep the birds from flying off. I took a 4 foot sheet or hard cloth and added it to it afterwards. I folded it in half so that 2 feet were exposed on the sides and 2 feet exposed outside to prevent the birds from burrowing. So far so good. We have had raccoons, coyotes, and who knows what else come to investigate the birds but have not tried. The railing was easy to assemble and clicked into place. It's not the sturdiest thing in the world. A bear could probably crush it but it could probably do most things if it wanted to. The gate latches shut pretty well. As expected, chicken wire is difficult to operate. There are a lot of sharp edges after trimming for safety.

Overall great value
Overall, great value for money. A little flimsy but I held it against the fence and it stayed securely in place. The chickens used it without hesitation.
