I’m convinced the positive reviews on this are fake. A toddler could never hit the lever hard enough for the car to make it up the hill and around for it to work which lead to him being very frustrated. It will be going back to the store.

cars don't stay on track
it's cool, but the cars either jump the tracks before going around or won't go around completely. 1 out 10 will be successful on the track. no matter if you do light, Medium, or hard hit. it doesn't stay on track. And you can't use just any hot wheels car either. the vans bus or trucks they give you don't work. too big and bulky. it's more for looks cuz don't work very well at all.

Avoid: Does Not Work Consistently
This Hot Wheels T-Rex playset is disappointing. Even when assembled correctly, the launcher and dinosaur features do not work reliably. Track pieces come apart easily during play, which causes frequent frustration. The plastic feels flimsy, and some parts require more force than expected for young children. While the design looks fun, the poor functionality and build quality make it a bad value for the price. I would not recommend this product.

This scary Dino is a kid magnet.
The boy loves it, we put it together and fine tuned this dinosaur and after much of that we actually got the cars launched and around the entire road. It takes the perfect launch, not too hard, not too soft. Of course it’s a great feeling when they make it through the mouth of the dinosaur and too the bottom. I wish it were a bit less janky in a couple places, but it does stay put for the most part. It’s a lot of fun for the toddler!

not worth it
the amount of times you have to hit the launcher to MAYBE make it up the track is ridiculous especially if your 3. my son cant get it up the track and if he some how does it instantly gets stuck on the one trigger in the back. I wish I would have bought something else not worth the money.

Do not recommend
I'm shocked by the high ratings for this. Maybe ours is defective? After the dino falls down it is really difficult to get it to click back in place in a standing position. My toddler can't do it himself and sometimes it takes me multiple tries. It is also difficult for us and impossible for him to get the car up the ramp. He still likes to play with it but is constantly asking us to help reset and gets frustrated easily with it.
