Awful – Doesn’t Condition at All
This is one of the worst conditioners I’ve ever used. It did nothing to hydrate or smooth my hair — if anything, it made the dryness from the Nº.4P shampoo even worse. My hair felt rough, tangled, and completely stripped after using this. I expected at least some softness or moisture, but there was none. For the price and the Olaplex name, this is incredibly disappointing. Save your money — this product does not perform like a conditioner and left my hair in worse shape than before.

Purple color doesn’t come out🤯🤬
I ordered them for my birthday 🎉 I’d love to treat myself. However, this weird color stays on my hands and hair. I guess I do not have to dye my hair anymore😒🤯 I am not crazy about organic hair products; however, I am wondering if they use lots of chemicals. Returning them cost 💲 that I do not get it!!!

Not As Described/Expected
I wanted to love this product, since I adore the normal No.4 Shampoo and No.5 Conditioner, but this is just awful. First of all, it stains everything. My hands and shoulders turned purple, I had to scrub my shower to get out all the purple splatter, and my nails seem to be permanently stained. It wasn't as bad as semi-permanent dye/conditioner, but it definitely stained a lot more than other toning shampoos/conditioners. I have bleached white-blonde hair, and was hoping this product would result in a less yellow, silver-blonde, like other toning products do. But, it dyed it purple. Not a slight purple tint - it turned straight-up lavender. Fortunately, it only took two washes for it to fade to a bluish silver. But, even that is more drastic than what I was expecting from a toning shampoo/conditioner. Finally, it made my hair feel extremely dry and brittle. After the initial application of the toning shampoo and conditioner, I noticed that my hair felt very straw-like, and it was difficult to run my fingers through it. So, I followed up with normal No.5 Conditioner, then applied No.9 Bond Protrctor Serum and No.7 Bonding Oil. Even then, my hair felt very dry and brittle. After several days and two washes, it is starting to feel softer, but is still more brittle than before using the toning products. Overall, I felt that this product was very reminiscent of Keracolor Clenditioner or other semi-permanent pigmented conditioners. The staining, dying, and damage was not at all what I expected from Olaplex products. It may be something that could be occassionally used to deposit pigments, but, at that point, I'd just get a cheaper colored conditioner since the effects seem to be the same. I don't think that this product is an accurate representation of Olaplex's product performance, and I would highly recommend trying the normal No.4 Shampoo and No.5 Conditioner.
