    The driftwood is much darker

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The driftwood is much darker than it looked in the pictures, and more brown with grey then the grey with a little brown shown. Construction was OK - the instructions don’t always show which side the piece needs to be on - but only had to rebuild the headboard once, so not too bad. I was able to instruct the main bed by myself in 2 1/2 hours (there’s a tricky bit orienting the locking screws from the headboard into the side rails and need to prop up the side rail to accomplish), the two drawers took another hour.

    Both the bed and nightstand

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both the bed and nightstand are solidly built. The long package for the bed came damaged (FedEx's fault) and while a few pieces were slightly scratched the damage was all contained to non-visible areas. There was one more piece quite damaged but it not being relevant to the structural integrity I just used it. The end table came with a small scratch on the top surface, but I know in time it will probably be joined by a few more. Despite the few small issues, the assembly was relatively easy. The worst problem for me was that most of the parts for the bed had no stickers with the part number. The nightstand had all the pieces labeled which really helped in its assembly.

    It is well made and is solid wood. The only thing I didn't like is that there is no protection in the legs of the bed for hardwood floors. It scratched mine before I realized this. 😬

    Nice Bed, fits our needs

    Bought this for our 12year old a year ago. She loves it and it looks nice. A few boards have become a little squeaky underneath, especially the trundle. The main bed is pretty sturdy, but the Trundle is less sturdy. One or two of the support boards have started to split and are creaky. The trundle requires a low-profile mattress. That is not obvious in the description, at least when we bought it, it wasn't.

I didn't return it because I didn't want to go through the hassle to take it apart pack it, yikes. Note: that will be good if the screws are packed separated with their own number on it. It was confusing for me and took a long time to figure out which one I needed it.

    Honest Review

    Overall, we are pleased with the furniture. It feels above average quality and better than MDF. We purchased two beds and a dresser. For the beds, construction was relatively straightforward but helpful with two people. We did receive one piece of wood damaged from the footboard but glued it on and didn’t bother to complain about it. It took about 2 hours for each bed. Each bed had to under storage drawers which were simple construction. They are massive with ample storage. For the dresser, I did that project alone and was able to do it about 90 mins. Overall, good piece of furniture and the lock system for assembly keeps it simple. Best part, draw rails were already installed. Huge win for P+B. Instructions for all were descriptive enough if you have experience. For a complete novice it may be challenging. Overall, kids love their beds so I’m satisfied. 50/50 on if I’d purchase more but would definitely recommend over Amazon or Wayfair.

    Beautiful bed! We’ve had this for about a month and seems sturdy and solid. Clear instructions and pretty easy to put together. It was a little darker than my daughter that it appeared in photo but stil very nice bed.

They offered to replace damaged pieces but informed us if we were to return the items it would be our responsibility to pay for shipping fees and a 20% restocking expense.     Very nice bed frame. Easy to put together. Just strange that there isn't a protective coat. The color is exactly what I wanted. If you're going to put a memory foam mattress you'll need to get a piece of plywood to put over the wood slats, they are too far apart to support a memory foam. The bottom drawers are big. Too bad they don't come with a set of four. They fit perfectly on all sides.

    Storage bed

    I love my new bed. I bought it specifically because it was white and especially because it has large storage drawers under the bed. If I were to change anything… it would be that the paint be white vs just white washed and that it had 4 large storage drawers as opposed to 2. But I do love it. It’s sturdy and simple.
