Q: Can the scalloped edge on the bottom be left off during assembly?

Based on the product specifications, the scalloped edge detail appears to be an integrated design feature of the dresser's decorative laminate finish, not a separate piece that can be removed or left off during assembly. The dresser is made with engineered wood (MDF/particleboard/plywood) and decorative laminate, so the scalloped edge is part of the overall matte white finish design. Since assembly is required for this dresser (estimated 15 minutes), but the scalloped edge is built into the furniture panels themselves, it cannot be left off during assembly.     Looks cute but bad quality

    This dresser looks adorable, but the quality is poor for actual use. My daughter has broken 3 of the 6 drawers and none of them operated 100% from day 1. If you want something that will last past the nursery phase I would pass on this.

    Assembly was extensive. Quality of material is poor. Drawers are on the smaller end and do not pull open all the way. Also assembly of drawers seems flimsy and likely to come apart over time. Aesthetic is nice though, quality not so much

    Doesn't Stand Up to Daily Use

    This dresser hasn't lasted us two years. The quality of the drawer construction is very poor, and a majority of the drawers have broken or fallen of their track. It won't stand up to daily use from kids.

    I really should have returned this but it’s just too big to return. We’re low income and perfectly capable of putting together furniture. We have a drawer that has not worked since day 1. It’s pops out and falls down out of the socket every single time my daughter (or I) open it. It was just made wrong so it isn’t anything that would have been a fault of ours in building it. I really wanted to love this because it’s very cute.

    Poor Quality

    I was disappointed in the quality of the dresser. Several corners of the dresser and drawers came chipped. The drawers in comparison to the sides and top of the dresser have like a matt finish.

We had an issue with a couple drawers not hooking right causing some space but it didn’t cause any major issues and was most likely user error. I really love the way it turned out and how spacious it seems to be! The drawers don’t pull out all the way but are deep and not pulling out all the way hasn’t been a huge issue

    Drawers don’t come out all the way

    It’s cute, and I replaced the handles with bow handles which is even cuter. But just like all the other comments say, the drawers do not come out all the way and it’s such a waste of space. We had a handy man come over to fix it and he couldn’t due to the way the dresser is made.

    Great for nursery

    Beautiful dresser, great size for my daughter’s nursery. The drawers only pull out halfway, but if you’ve dealt with climbing toddlers, you know this can be necessary for safety purposes. The drawers are very deep, providing plenty storage. Height, width, and depth are also great for changing station.
