LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus Rex 76968

This set is awesome. It was a fun build and just looks so impressive. It's solid when completed and beutifully detailed. Absolutely one of my favorites.

One of the best I've ever build. I was quite worried the building will be too repetitive. It wasn't. I enjoyed it from the start till the end. Loved the Easter eggs as well!

I have loved it since I saw images, and once I got it I could not believe how great it was I took it slow as I got it around a busy period, but I believe its fun enought to be done with a whole day free The 2 figs are complimentary, being on point with theme. Lovely detail, and I love the display plaque Would recommend

As an amateur paleontologist I really appreciate all the attention to detail on this lego build. She is lovingly displayed with the Tyrannosaurus rex fossils I have. If you are a dinosaur fanatic, this is a no brainer.

No regrets. It is a large set as you can see next to other sets.

The people that sold me this in Westfarms mall in CT were amazing. Besides that the set itself was a bit tricky to set up but once it was done it looked beautiful. My inner child would be extremely happy.

I was expecting big but not this big. I also enjoyed the Easter egg in the build. Bags 18 and 21 were missing a piece though, however each of those bags had an additional random piece so I guess there’s that…

This set is sooo cool. It took approximately 9 hours. Some fun easter eggs and it's really cool to watch the animal take shape. I was a bit disappointed in the tail, both by the boring repetitiveness, but also the look is a bit off. Instead of the vertebrae gradually getting smaller, they go down in chunks. It's a bit baffling to me because I think it's a really easy fix. I already got the T-rex skull set a year ago, and while it's true that the two skulls are very similar, the version in this set is superior in looks, build and strength. I plan to disassemble the old skull set, keeping the footprint to display next to the full animal, while using the pieces from the skull to improve the detail of the tail. The structure of this set is very sound, and you don't have to worry about it falling apart when you move it, just some of the tail vertebrae getting knocked off if you're not careful, but they are easy to put back on. Overall it is a gorgeous set, and a very fun build. I had seen from reviews and the specs that it would be very big, but the size in real life still shocked me. It looks so much more massive and imposing in the flesh. Even if you're a not a fan of Jurassic Park, you can love this set as a paleontology nerd. The references to the movie were a nice bonus. For some reason Lego decided that some of the packs the pieces came in would be plastic and some paper. Just give us paper Lego, please! And PLEASEEEEEEEE give us more fossil sets! I don't care what it is, dinosaurs, pterosaurs, marine reptiles, mammals, trilobites, just give me fossils! Doesn't need to be JP either. Just give us fossils!

Overall, this was a fun and exciting piece to build 4.9/5 stars. The only reason it was 4.9/5 is that I was 4 pieces short of completing the set. I have placed an order for the 4 pieces and am awaiting the arrival. This is truly a conversation starter, and I am looking for more to build.

No complaints. My only knack is that I can’t see the froggy anymore. It’s beautiful, I would adore seeing more like it

This set is imo the best looking display there is. Some builds are perhaps more fun but this set is huge & looks great on display plus the tail & head move. Just a great set. More of this size please Lego!

I am absolutely in love with this build. Every second of the build from beginning to end was a massive joy. I loved the little Easter egg in the build as well. I just have to figure out where to proudly display it. Worth every cent!

This is a great set Lego, I only ask that you show more love the Jurassic Park series. The first three movies have so much potential for sets. There are many movie moments, characters and creatures that are still largely absent from the JP line that we fans are still waiting for you to make. The Lost World as well as Jurassic Park 3 deserve their Lego debuts as well. Please make this happen.
