Lovevery Toddler Food Prep Play Collection Mini Kit 18m+ - 8pc: Creativity, Patterns, Sensory Development, Wood

My toddler LOVES the recipe book, but I wish it had a table of contents based on ingredient and/or recipe title to make grocery shopping easier and finding specific recipes faster. I also wish the recipe overview and steps were not on their own double-sided card. With the stand, it would be easier to have the overview on one side and the steps on the opposite page so the toddler could refer to both pages at the same time instead of having to flip back and forth. Lastly, a lot of the recipes need the Lovevery chopper, but it’s not included. It feels like a tool that should have been included, given how may recipes require it. I also can’t find it for purchase anywhere on the site. If those things were fixed this kit would be a home run.

This is a wonderful addition to the play kitchen. Our 3 year old looked at the pictures and immediately wanted to make what was in the picture. We even had to go out and buy a bamboo tray so it looked exactly like the picture. He was pretty enthusiastic about it! Good product.

I got it for my picky eater 3 year old. She actually tried new foods because of this kit!

The kit would be complete if it had a chopper, colander, and stir spoon. It's frustrating that the directions call for specific supplies but don't have them in the kit. They were also not available to order, which was upsetting. I also wish the recipe book had an index or some other organization besides age range. We were making pita pizzas for dinner and I wanted my kid to help but I had to search the whole book to see where the recipe was. My kid isn't able to grab and prep the ingredients on his own (that's the gown ups job, and I need an index in a cookbook).

We love the recipe book and the apron. The stainless steel bowl is also perfectly sized. Wish the other items were not plastic - we knew this when purchasing this item and still chose to go for it. Feels like the little cups could easily be stainless steel like the bowl though.

Instructions say it is dishwasher safe, one of the measuring cups is completely warped after a single wash.

Love this set! My toddler loves putting on the apron and making the “recipes.” I like the recipe book even more than I anticipated; it’s full of variety, and the pictures engage the toddler and help them visualize what they’re making. I’ve seen some complaints about the price, but I’ve yet to see another toddler-friendly recipe book like this on the market. The recipe book is what most attracted me to this set, and it has not disappointed. They obviously put a lot of work into it, and it is full of simple, easy, and beautiful looking recipes. It also stands up nicely so you can set it up for the toddler to view any recipe you’d like. To me, the book is what makes this set worth it. One reason I feel like I’ve gotten a good value for my money is that we’ve only done two recipes so far, and we’ve already gotten a ton of valuable playtime. I feel like can literally see all the learning gears turning for my toddler. We’re having so much fun making little snacks and meals together and serving them to other people! (And by the way, both recipes were actually really good and everyone wanted more!) I also like that all the recipes are healthy (or at least on the healthier side). The apron is so cute in photos, and the little cups and mixing bowl are also adorable. The recipe book does have photos of some Lovevery kitchen accessories that are only available if you buy the expensive Lovevery Play Kitchen. Obviously, having these specific accessories is not essential to using the recipe book, but as other reviewers have mentioned, I would love if there was an option to buy additional kitchen prep accessories separately from the play kitchen. All in all, worth it for me! These Target mini kits are great, and I’m so glad they made this cooking one! In the future, I would love to see more kitchen accessories from Lovevery (especially ones without plastic), as well as maybe a toddler art kit that includes some way to display the toddler’s art.

We absolutely love the perfectly toddler sized tools and the recipe book has been perfect to encourage independence and exploration. This set goes perfectly with out play kitchen and we couldn't love the apron more! Such a perfect set for cooking and even water play. Couldn't love it more!

Cute kit but very overpriced. Would have appreciated an option to select the toddler vs. preschool apron size with this kit, especially since it really feels like this kit was designed to be an add-on to the play kitchen, which is marketed for up to 5 yrs. The apron is so tiny and will not fit my preschooler, which makes it feel even more overpriced. The recipe book has recipes designed for up to 36 months, which is also another reason I think it's so strange to have included such a tiny apron. It will not fit the average 3-year-old. Feels like they just want you to spend more money by only selling the larger kid's apron separately. Nice kit, but really disappointed by this aspect.

Very good mini kit for toddler . Really loved recipe book. Would benefit if they can add small kid friendly knife also in the kit. I always loved Lovevery products. It would be great if items in mini kit are also available separately for sale since sometimes you don’t need everything in the kit and it will get expensive to buy the whole kit.

My 3-year-old loves to cook, so this kit was perfect. It makes her feel involved in the kitchen and teaches real-life skills through play. The tools are the perfect size for little hands. I also appreciate how it ties into everyday routines. It’s educational, engaging, and beautifully made. Highly recommend for any toddler who wants to help their adult in the kitchen!

I got this because my daughter, 2.5, kept asking for me to get the fraction measuring cups she saw in one of the Lovevery books. I saw this while shopping and grabbed it for Christmas. I like the quality of the contents and the flip recipe book that has visuals to help her prepare the recipe. She loves to cook. I did happen to get it for 40 percent off with a Target Circle deal. I don’t think it is worth $60 and wouldn’t pay full price for it.

"My First Recipes" book is the reason to get this mini kit. The recipes are very easy to follow and would give your toddler the satisfaction of completing them. Our daughter loves following the recipes and wearing her little apron. Very cute print!! We wish Lovevery also included the wood chopper and blue spatula prominently featured in the book to make it a truly comprehensive food prep kit. Overall, a great mini kit!

We’ve been obsessed with the Lovevery Toddler Food Prep Play Collection Mini Kit 🍎 It’s so well made, and my toddler loves the measuring cups — they’re unlike any we’ve ever had! The little recipe book has actually helped him try new foods, which is huge for us. Such a fun and thoughtful kit ❤️

My little one is obsessed with everything in this kit. We use it in our real kitchen and in her play kitchen. We use it for water transfer or to make some of the meals in the recipe book, which btw is an incredible resource because there's so many simple recipes I never thought of in there. My toddler loves to help and these recipes are all things they can help with. Also the apron is so super cute

Absolutely love this kit! The apron provided is the perfect size for my 2.5 year old (this one is significantly smaller than the Lovevery H&B kids apron - picture included). The recipe book + included items are so cute, and the snacks/lunches provided are so helpful to me as a mom and getting new meal ideas. I do wish it came with the mixing spoon pictured in the book, as more than half of the recipes call for it and my kiddo keeps asking for the blue spoon. Some of the tools required are found in lovevery subscription boxes. This is definitely a nice expansion to the LE Play Kitchen, but neither the subscription nor kitchen are required! This will make an awesome gift for other kids in my family.

My son loved the new additions to his meal time prep. When he got it he gasped and said, “is this for me?” When I told him yes he said, “thank you” and the amount of gratitude just poured out of him was blissful to watch. It felt like Christmas had come early and he was so thankful. I have a happy kid and this momma has a well equipped little chef.

Within minutes of opening the food prep mini kit my daughter was asking to make dinner with me-and she has every night since! She’s learned so many new skills in the kitchen and has willingly tried new foods as we prepare them together. I am so impressed with the recipe book. The recipes are age appropriate, healthy, and appealing. The step by step instructions are easy for little ones to understand with photos that tell the story. I love that this mini kit has built her confidence in the kitchen and given us some great memories!

This kit is excellent addition for any family looking to bring their children into the kitchen safely and constructively! It’s more than just cute gear; it’s a toolset that promotes fine motor skills, mathematical concepts (measuring!) and patience. My little one loves it!

I’m so impressed with the quality of this set. The apron canvas is thick and the perfect size for my daughter who just turned two. The recipe book is also very well made with sections for different age groups. As someone who struggles to think of new meal ideas, I appreciate that we can flip through this for meals/snacks she can make herself. My daughter loves it and has already made a few recipes.
