Get it around 6months!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Meet Squiddy. There’s a lot of crawling toys out there so Hopscotch isn’t reinventing the wheel. Instead, they offer what is the most advanced feature packed and convenient iteration at the best price! The only thing missing in this combo is that there isn’t any music to choose from. It’s either this beat (which is catchy and can get stuck in your head) or no music. The movements are more natural than some other toys but not exactly life like. If Squiddy hits a block on his merry way, he takes about 3 seconds to devise an alternative route. That’s precious time lost if it’s in close range of its main prey - your sitting baby. Your dog or cat may also be amused/ frightened by Squiddy. But it’s okay, he’s different. Squiddy recharges fast, flashes stimulating lights & gets stuck in a loop every now and again but I think it helped in my quest to get our son crawling and it played a part in achieving that. 4.5/5 kinda guy.

Entertaining for babies and toddlers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dancing squid is a big hit with all of my kiddos (age 5 and under). Easy to switch on and between the modes. The "instructions" were on the box, which I had initially missed. The two modes are dancing and chasing, which looks the same to me except one has music and the other does not. What I do not like is how loud the music is. It's not adjustable and is pretty annoying to adults, but the kids all love it. One charge lasts a long time, so you don't have to worry about it stopping in the middle of play.

Keeps my kids entertained
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dancing squid has kept both my infant and toddler kids entertained. They get a kick out of the dancing squid and love the music. As a parent, I do like that you have the option to toggle the music on or off. It’s easy to charge and works really well on the tile. It doesn’t really work on the carpet so you have to have some flat surface to play with this.

Fun toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome toy! The music is not too obnoxious, could be a little quieter but I love that it has an option to run around with no music on. The battery I will say does die quick!

Overall, it’s an entertaining and eye-catching toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Is a fun interactive toy that moves, dance and lights up with music to keep kids engaged. It helps encourage movements, coordination and littles one, however, it can be a bit noisy and the movements are not always very precise.

Great crawling toy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this dancing squid so much. He has been crawling more because he wants to catch it. It’s very easy to use and very easy to charge the squid when it runs out of charge. It doesn’t require assembly which is highly convenient.

Big hit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dancing squid was a big hit with my kids, from the baby to the four year old. It moves along the hard floor very well but does struggle on carpets. The lights and music really captivated my kids attention. The song is a bit loud and obnoxious after awhile but fortunately there is a setting for lights only with no music. I also like that there are no pesky batteries to change. The toy charges with a usb-c cable provided.

Fun for babies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy for babies. It was a little smaller than expected and unfortunately it is not carpet friendly, but super fun on a flat service. It lights up and has a pretty loud speaker. My 1 year old loves it

Overall, it’s a decent toy with good functionality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hopscotch Lane Dancing Squid is actually not a bad toy. Overall the size is convenient not too big so it’s easy to keep around the house and the weight is wide enough for a child to interact with it safely in terms of performance. It moves well and does exactly what it’s supposed to do which keeps kids entertained. The usability is also simple. Just turn it on and it starts moving no complicated set up. However, the biggest downside is the noise. The song is honestly too loud and repetitive it can give you a headache to the point where you start feeling like your eyes look like the cold sweat smile thankfully it still works without the music, which makes it much more enjoyable.

Fun Musical Squid for Tummy Time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hopscotch Squid musical toy is such a hit with our baby (7 months old) during tummy time! It definitely keeps him entertained by moving around the room and making music! The squid has sensors so it will change direction when it is about to hit a wall (or something on the floor). I definitely recommend this squid toy during tummy time! Also, you can turn the switch to a mode where it plays music or a mode where it doesn’t play any music! The size is perfect and fits in your hand. I also love that it came with a charger to recharge it once it runs out of battery! So fun!

Lights, noise or no noise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fun can be obnoxious, the sound is able to go off which is a must! Even fun for pets. Makes a musical loud noise with different notes. Lights are bright, great entertainment for evenings or night with low night too. It drives around by a sensor. Charge easily with usb.

Loud but entertaining!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A fun toy for sure! My cats even love it🤣 my daughter is 1.5 years old and initially was so scared of this because of how loud it is with the music on! Once we figured out we could turn that off, my daughter was much more interested. It’s so nice that it comes with a rechargeable battery! It sustained a few drops and throws so you can tell it’s durable. Took under a minute to get it out of the package and playing!

Will get the little ones entertained and having fu
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a game changer with the little ones, is not too small or too big, has a great size to keep them following it, the music that makes can be a bit annoying after a long time but hey, you can also put it without music too. Battery is still going since we received it, definitive a game changer!

Cute and interactive toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is so so cute!! My little one loves it and starting going to grab for it right away. It’s really light weight and smaller which is great for our smaller rooms. It is testing the time against my toddler as well. It’s quick to charge and easy to turn off and put away!

Very kid approved product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the added lights on the new version! Super cute and my son adores this toy. Very easy to use and easy to charge. Only wish there was a volume button to turned down the music just a bit. But over all very impressed.
