Excited for this
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yet to use it with my babies but overall it looks like it works great. It’s sturdy and easy to use. It’s a decent size, not to big not too small.

Easy to set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like how easy it was to setup however it isn’t ideal for my bathtub. If I had slower running water it would work great. I do appreciate the nice design and soft material.

Free filter not included!
Misleading advertising on box. The item you’re paying for is a 2 in 1, filter and spout cover for $70! On the corner of the box it says “free filter included, $37 value” but it’s not free you’re literally paying for a filter and cover. Or it could be misleading in a different way where I’m thinking I get an extra filter. $70 is a lot and to try and trick customers into thinking they’re getting a free $37 filter on top of what they’re purchasing is annoying.

Thank you for sharing this feedback. I’m so sorry for any confusion caused by the packaging! We don't want you to feel misled. To clarify, the '2-in-1' mentioned on the box refers to the design of the device itself, it serves as both a bath tub filter and a protective spout cover for your bathtub. Additionally, we include a filter (which retails for $37) inside every box so that your unit is ready to use the moment you install it. Our goal is to provide that initial filter at no additional cost beyond the device itself, rather than requiring a separate purchase just to get started. Thank you for giving the Bathtub Filter a try!

Not for our Tub
I really love the concept of this product and had very high hopes but unfortunately it isn’t ideal for my bathtub and situation. I’m still giving it 3 stars because I can imagine if our plumbing was different, that it would be great. Pros: - easy set up… like really easy. Slide the band on, put the cover on. Both went on easily - easy removal for cleaning - looks and feels nice Cons: - not all of the water for my style bath/shower gets filtered because there is no way for me to lower the water pressure on my hot water - At the level where all the water was flowing through (very cold), the tub would take a long time to fill. I would gladly take this trade off if it would filter all my hot water

We're always grateful for feedback from customers using our products in their homes. I’m sorry it hasn’t been performing the way you expected, that’s definitely not the experience we want for you. The opening at the front of the Bath Tub Filter is what we call the Spillway and it's been designed to do exactly that. To release excess water when the flow rate from your faucet is high. Many bathtub spouts are built to fill quickly, and if the water pressure is too strong, some water will exit through this release hole. This is most common in setups where there is only one knob, so you only have control over the temperature of the water, not the rate of flow. Even when this happens, the majority of the water (typically between 80 and 100%) is still being effectively filtered before it enters your tub. A huge improvement from tap water alone. We appreciate you giving it a try!

Skin loving product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the 2-in-1 bathtub filter from Canopy for my toddler, and I’ve honestly had a really positive experience with it. As a mom, I’m always mindful of what my child is exposed to—especially when it comes to bath time—so having a filter that helps improve water quality gives me extra peace of mind. Since using this filter, I’ve noticed a difference in my child’s skin. There have been fewer breakouts and irritation, and their skin just seems calmer overall. That alone makes it worth it for me. I also appreciate the quality of the product. It feels well-made, easy to use, and safe, which is exactly what I look for when it comes to anything for my child. Overall, I definitely feel confident continuing to use this and would recommend it to other parents looking for a simple way to elevate their child’s bath routine.

Use the bath everyday. Went to change the filter for the first time after 3 months and the inside was full of black mold.

I am so sorry to hear about this. This is definitely not the experience we want for any of our customers. While the Canopy Bath Tub Filter features built-in ventilation and an antimicrobial coating to resist buildup, it is still important to allow the device to dry completely between uses and to utilize the top-rack dishwasher-safe feature for deeper cleaning. Our team would be happy to make this right. Please reach out to the Canopy team with a brief video/pictures you took of the issue, and your proof of purchase, and we may be able to help with a replacement.

Good filter
So far I am very happy with this filter. Our town has hard water and it bothers my skin, so we have a shower filter (different company). However, I wanted something for our toddler’s bath, too. During the first bath with the Canopy filter, I felt a huge difference in the water. I’m not sure how to describe it, but it felt…softer? More pure. It’s given me so much peace of mind for my toddler’s baths. It was mostly easy to install. I don’t remember the process exactly but I was able to do it by myself, which is an achievement lol I’ve had it for about 3 months so we are about to change the filter!

Too slim to filter water
When running with our warm water - half of the water came out of the back flow opening so half of it was unfiltered - defeating the purpose of the filter. Already has been opened so cannot return. Very expensive filter - and a waste of money :(

Does not fit my bath
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I so wanted this to work on my kids’ bathtub. We have a wider faucet and I just couldn’t get it to attach properly, which was disappointing and meant that it was not secure or water tight. The largest attachment also immediately tore. I’m sure with a different faucet it would be fine, but sadly does not work for mine.

Don't bother. Nice idea but doesn't work
Two small spots that don’t get filtered let water into the tub…. Kind of defeats the purpose no? Too much pressure and the water also slips out the back
1 reply from canopy Team team - 3 months ago
We’re sorry this didn’t meet your expectations. The openings on the Bath Tub Filter are spillways, which are designed to release excess water when the faucet flow is especially high. Bathtub spouts often fill very quickly, so with higher-pressure setups, some water may exit through those areas while the majority of the water still passes through the filter before entering the tub. If the filter is slipping or water is escaping from the back, the fit usually improves when the attachment band is pulled all the way back toward the base of the spout with the arrow facing the wall.

Disappointing
when I received the item, it was already used. It had water build-up like it was used for a long time. The sticker and inner seal was already removed even the filter that came with it. This very disappointing considering it is not a cheap product

Loved the idea of this filter as my baby has dry skin and eczema. However, the spout cover is not a good fit. I also don't understand the purpose of this filter if there is water coming out in a separate opening that does not pass through the filter. Instructions state that the spillway activates when needed based on tub's water pressure and either way that the filter is working just as it should, but the spillway did not stop for us which seems to defeat the purpose of this product.
1 reply from canopy Team team - 3 months ago
Thanks for sharing your experience. We understand how important gentle bath water can be, especially for little ones with sensitive skin. For the fit issue, please double-check that the attachment band is pulled all the way back toward the base of your spout, with the arrow on the tab facing the wall. The band should not be visible through the top slit of the silicone cover. Positioning it this way helps create a more secure fit and prevents the filter from slipping. The opening at the front of the bathtub filter is called the spillway, and it’s designed to release excess water if the flow rate from your faucet is very high. Many bathtub spouts are built to fill tubs quickly, and when the water pressure is strong, especially in setups with a single knob that controls temperature but not flow rate, some water may exit through this release opening. Even when that happens, the majority of the water (typically around 80–100%) is still passing through the filter before entering your tub, which is still a significant improvement over unfiltered tap water.

Must Have For Babies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, let's talk about the installation process. It's the easiest installation I've ever done for anything bath related. No fuss, no struggle, just easy peasy and done. More important, the water in my baby's bath was a very noticeable clearer color after installing. I felt like the flow of water was slower but just enough to create a calm clean environment. I love that I can rest assured that any skin issues that may arise will be directly related to bath products, so I can easily weed out products as we go. Such a wonderful product and would definitely recommend it to all mommas!

Overall we liked it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although I do love this product I do fear that it pulls on faucet a little bit and might make it wobbly! I have seen a big difference in the quality of the water coming out of it, I feel it’s easy to put on and the stream is still as powerful as it was, helps my children to not bonk their head on a metal faucet! Good size for my tub!
