BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium 1" Ultra-Thin Straightener: Metal & Plastic Material, Electric Heat, All Hair Types, 30 Second Heating Time

I thought the plates would be longer like my old one but they were a bit smaller so I’m having to go over my hair longer. I also feel like it’s not getting as hot as it should.

Mine stopped working after 2 years and I have barely used it.

The heat is good, but it does not have a way to keep it closed and it does not open very far.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I tried my nieces BaBylissPRO Nano Titanium. I like the style of the iron and the colors. I was so impressed that it didn't pull or snag my hair. The heat setting was set at 325 - 350 degrees, my hair was smooth and looked amazing! I ordered the 1" while I was there (TN) hoping it would be waiting for me when I arrived back at home (PA). When my BaByliss arrived I couldn't wait to try it, expecting the same results, however, I was disappointed. This iron pulled and snagged my hair, it wasn't smooth at all and my hair did not look the same as it did when I had used in TN. I will try it a few more times, as I am hoping it might have been a fluke. If my results aren't any different then I'll be returning it. I thought I had found the perfect iron, but, I guess I'll have to keep looking.

This is a great straightener, I got mine in 2014 and it would leave my hair silky straight, you could also do very tight curls with it. I have course curly hair and I didn't need to do many passes to get my hair silky straight. It is great if you're a stylist and trying to invest because this straightener lasted me 10 years, I think it could've lasted longer but I kept dropping it a lot, I used mine daily on the highest setting and still lasted.
