Q: Is this cat food soft like tender vittles?

A: This food is a hard kibble. It is small pieces, but not soft. I'm not sure how it compares to Vittles.

A: This kibble is hard, as opposed to the tender variety for adult cats. When your baby is learning to eat crunches I usually mix some wet food in with a bit of warm water

A: You could ask your veterinarian or go to a reputable website for a more professional opinion. Personally, I wouldn't be in any rush. Depending on your baby's breed he/she could continue growing for two years or more. I know that mine is! Kitten food is great for mamas and seniors as well.

Most of the cat foods we looked at contained at least one ingredient that my boyfriend is not comfortable handling (wheat, barley, rye, etc.). We found the Purina One Plus Kitten food contained none of the concerning ingredients while meeting all of the nutritional goals we wanted for the kittens.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] so, i originally got my kitty bear meow mix, and she DID not like it at all, would barely eat it. but as soon as i poured purina kitten food into her bowl, she immediately started eating like someone was gonna steal it from her?! (yes, i feed her wet kitten food too, so she wasn't starving, but she also had worms so her not eating the dry kibble didn't help her weight) i'll update back soon!
