A: The best guidance is always the care label sewn into the garment, which uses these same dot symbols. The steam function is only effective and safe when the iron is set to the medium (••) or high (•••) heat settings. Do not use steam on the low (•) setting to prevent water from dripping or spitting.

Makes you feel like a fully functioning adult read

Great Iron

Easy and effective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The PurSteam 1200W Professional Steam Iron heats up within seconds. It has a burst spray feature and a non stick soleplate. The iron has an auto shut off feature, which is really helpful. I ironed one side of the shorts to show how quickly it gets the wrinkles out compared to the other side. I do not have an ironing board so I was curious to see if it would work well if I tried to iron the pair of shorts on a piece of furniture and it was fine. I used the cotton setting since the shorts are 99% cotton. It does have different settings for different material. I also like that the soleplate doesn’t go all the way to the bottom of the iron so when you set it down, you don’t risk burning whatever you set it on. This is a really great iron and the steam feature will definitely come in handy. I just got those shorts out of the dryer so I felt like a quick pass with the iron would be sufficient.

It can complete multiple tasks that I may need, including steaming and ironing. It performs really well and gets the job done quickly. I also like how easy they make it to load water into the iron; with the cup included to poor the water. It looks like it's made of iron and plastic. The only thing I would change is the weight of the iron. I would like a bit of a heavier iron.

I don't have a full size ironing board, just a small tabletop one, so I needed something compact and easy to use. It heats up quickly, which is great for quick touch ups, and the steam function does its job of removing small wrinkles. Small, but powerful
This iron was much smaller than expected. Maybe I didn’t read carefully, but it works well and the small size makes it a little easier to use. The steam function is excellent and holds more water than I first thought. Although it is more than I would’ve initially paid for a smaller iron, I’m satisfied. So far so good.
