Q: According to the response above, these pans are not induction compatible. When you look at the "at a glance" section & specifications, it says induction compatible. Why aren't they compatible?

A: We sincerely apologize for any confusion. The Rachael Ray Cook + Create 11pc Nonstick Aluminum Cookware Set isn’t induction-compatible because it’s made from aluminum, which isn’t magnetic. Induction cooktops require cookware with a magnetic base to generate heat, and this set doesn’t have that feature. We hope this helps clarify.

I received this set as a Christmas present just over one year ago. Yes, only a year old. The frying pans in this set can no longer be used, seemingly a perceived safety hazard. They get so hot, now that they have been used frequently, that they have a weird flame coming from inside along the edges when I cook with them. I don’t trust my teenage kids would know what to do if the pan caught on fire. I did have flames once and it scared my daughter. And my second concern is the kids. They have rubber on them and I’ve already accidentally melted the sides in two of the kids. And lastly, I was just reading now that this set has PFAS in it. This is why I gave it the lowest rating it could get.

I bought these pans when I moved into my apartment, I really like the pans and I like the lids that fit all of the smaller pans despite them being smaller. I use all the pans often, I always reach for them first even though I have other ones. The only think I was not a fan of was the spatula and spoon, after one use it was melting the spoon. Obsessed with the color

I thought that the cookware was coming with more lids…Only one lid and have to share with two pots…So if you cooking with both pots you are only able to use one the one lid..

I've had this set of pots and pans for a month. They are great except that they easily get scratched from the bottom and another thing I did like is that they turn a dar red when cooking. But after washing them they return to the regular red color again. Other than that so far I love them.

This one checks off all the boxes. The nonstick coating is very durable. I’ve had issues in the past with the nonstick coating peeling off other sets, and I haven’t had that issue at all! I really like that the lids fit multiple size pots/pans. My only ‘complaint’ would be that the spatula it comes with is a bit flimsy.
