I’m not sure if I used enough. The product definitely eliminated them. I lost a bird but according to research it would not kill a house pet. If it does not hurt birds unless someone knows if there is any amount that could please someone respond. Otherwise I researcrched it myself. It was coincidental The reason only 4 stars. You can not expect put this down and never worry again. You do need to seal everything up. Mine came back. My mistake is I forgot I had birds and mice love seed. They have very good noses. They found a new way in. Be careful and seal the holes. I love this product but there is more work to do. I didn’t patch with the coil. You must also do that with the throw packs and either rats or mouse x . I would then say they are 98%. Affective. Minus that unfortunately these little ugly things are so incredibly intelligent. This was a very clever product also and the least invasive on animals. Rat poison or mice poison with any blood thinner will kill all your house pets. Do not use it. You won’t be questioning the bird. You would know. Dogs and cat pretty much will both be incredible danger so please use this product and use with a bit of caution.

RatX throw packs are the safest and simplest way to control rodent problems. There are no worries where pets, children or other wildlife are concerned! I never consider any other product since I discovered this one!

Well after two TWO pest companies - I discovered Mousex - it did take 7-10 days and we had lots of rats - city doing construction displaced them. TWO weeks later - they are gone - but I am keeping up just in case - yes you need to watch for bodies - but my pets were safe and the rats ??? GONE but vigilence continues27 count

Thumbs up to Ecoclear!!!! I bought this and bought a bag for my neighbor as he always uses toxic baits and I want him to switch also becuase I am always in fear my dogs will eat a dead rat or mouse that has the poison in it.
