Real Raw Shampoothie Biotin Boost Thick & Full Shampoo - 12 fl oz

I wanted to love this product because it’s marketed as a very clean product with no sulfates and extra stuff. I’ve tried out both their shampoo and conditioner system together this last month. My hair feels like no matter how much I rinse it leaves a thick residue. I have now broken out with severe dermatitis which I have never experienced before in my LIFE!

I actually like this product a lot. I usually dye my hair a lot and it was damaged. This shampoo saved my hair .

Real Raw Biotin Shampoo is a thick, great smelling shampoo. It lathers relatively well. I personally feel like my hair was frizzy after using this shampoo. I would still continue to use it to see if my hair improves. I do like that this has biotin and collagen in the formula.

My daughter and I both have straight hair, mine thin and hers thick and this stuff definitely seemed to make our hair thicker/fuller but the drawback for us was when we ran our fingers through our hair we had a residue left on our hands even with thorough rinsing and using the matching conditioner. Our hair also tangled much quicker/easier. Almost like how your hair can feel after using some dry shampoos if you know what I mean. Sorry this one is a no for us.

When I first started using it, I noticed my hair fell out less than my previous shampoo/ conditioner. However, after using it for about a month I’ve noticed that it leaves a lot of residue in your hair. I feel like I can never wash all the product out, and it leaves my hair feeling crunchy because of this. I really wanted to love this, but I just don’t think it’s worth it):

I like the shampoo/conditioner product better than others I've tried. It has a good smell, don't have to leave the conditioner in too long before rinse. I seems to do a good job at strengthening my hair and keeping it healthy.

my favorite shampoo. It is not color safe it will remove your hair color just be warned. for those going through hair loss this helped me! I was losing handfuls. This also cleared up my dry scalp! It stripes all hair product residue, hair color, extra oils and leaves your hair and scalp so clean and healthy. your hair will be flat . oh and a little goes along way.

Didn’t work for me…. if older and having hormonal hair loss, may not work. I saw more hair fall with this, was so disappointed.

I love this stuff. I have stick straight, baby fine hair with no volume whatsoever. This product keeps my hair soft while giving it some bounce and movement throughout the day AND it smells so good.

This shampoo smells great...smells like baby powder. It’s subtle and not overpowering. What I dislike is that it is a very thick formula and does not spread/lather well. I have to add more shampoo after my initial run bc it does not provide enough lather to cover my scalp. I wash my hair every other day...my hair is so much greasier on the 2nd day using this shampoo than it usually is. Will not be buying again.

I have fine, thin hair that gets oily after one day. This shampoo (with the conditioner) has made it look and feel thicker and it is more manageable and healthy. I was looking for something with better ingredients than the typical drugstore brands and this was my favorite of the ones I tried. I have used it every day for at least six months.

I have long, thin, straight hair. This shampoo left my hair a tangled, unmanageable mess. There was significant residue left behind no matter how much I rinsed. It felt like I had taken hair gel and combed it throughout my hair, even after it had dried. Also, my hair started SMOKING when I was using my revlon one-step dryer. I had no other product on my hair, so I know it had to be this. The only plus to this shampoo is the scent. It is my favorite smelling shampoo I have ever used! Which is probably why I felt extra disappointed when it didn't work for me :(

Smells good. Nice thick lather. liked all the things it does NOT contain (parabens and other yucky stuff) BUT unfortunately my hair doesn't achieve feeling thicker after using. I've been using for more than a week and I'm looking onto the next.

I have long thick hair that is naturally curly but I straighten it always. I wash my hair about once a week as well. I’ve been using this shampoo for almost a year now and combine it with the shampoothie biotin conditioner. The very first time I used it I loved it, it made my hair super voluminous & felt squeaky clean. After that, for about the next two months I noticed my hair was getting greasy faster, after about two days it felt like I needed to wash it, when I normally go a week without having to wash it. I decided to stick it out because I figured it was detoxing from the previous shampoo that was just a drug store shampoo filled with gross ingredients. I’m glad I stuck to this because my hair feels so healthy. Normally I get dead split ends from straightening & blow drying it and I need to trim it often. I’ve been in quarantine for the last 6 months and haven’t had a trim since before and I don’t have any split ends! My hair is so nice & smooth & shiny yet it has volume and keeps its thickness. It does not make my strands thin & flat like some other shampoos. I noticed it’s also made my hair thicker. I already had thick hair but I felt like it wasn’t as thick as it used to be, this shampoo gave me back the thickness I used to have and it’s grown so long so fast. It felt stuck at the same length for a while and this just made it grow without stopping. I also experience way less hair loss when I wash it & whenever I brush it. I used to lose big chunks and now it’s just a small amount. When I wash my hair, I use a small amount just to get the dirt out and rinse it because it doesn’t lather well the first time. I shampoo it a second time and it lathers much nicer and cleans well. I know this is a long review, I just wanted to mention everything I experienced with it! I definitely recommend trying this shampoo & conditioner out, and sticking to it for a couple months, before you decide if you like it or not!

I’ve tried so many shampoos over the years to get my hair to be thicker and to try and get my waves back the way they used to be. My hair used to be a lot thicker and so wavy and as I’ve gotten older it just dries kind of flat with minimal waves. This shampoo is amazing!! After using it my hair looks so healthy and full and my waves are back in full force, I haven’t had waves like this since middle school. I haven’t had to style my hair with my curler per usual. I’ve even tried $30 shampoo with great reviews and it did nothing. I’m so happy I found this product! Lol shampoo has never made me so emotional or so excited before!

When I first tried this I didn’t think much of it. It left my already dry hair feeling kinda meh. Since I’ve stopped heat styling my curly hair and started using more curl-friendly products I gave it another chance since it wasn’t cheap. Let me tell you- my hair is so soft and lightweight and bouncy. I think this shampoo is better for people with type 2 maybe type 3 waves/curls who don’t heat style their hair and want natural bouncy volume. The conditioner is great too.

The item I actually wanted, Real Raw Açaí Antioxidant Shampoothie, is apparently not available in California. The product I inadvertently ordered was the same manufacturer but different name. To the review of the product I purchased I would say it is very good but not what I wanted.

The shampoo smells great and my hair does look a little more voluminous than usual. BUT my hair becomes soooo greasy after less than a day. I can usually go 2-3 days without washing my hair, but now I have to wash it every 18 hours or just feel greasy until I do. Wish I could love this :(
