The Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge flawlessly blends liquid and cream products with ease for a streak-free, luminous glow. Our best-selling makeup blending sponge offers a natural, dewy finish, and its micro-fine pores help create a seamless base with light to medium coverage. Real Technique’s MCS works best with liquid and cream makeup products such as foundation, skin tints, and illuminators. This makeup sponge has RT's unique 3-point application technique that makes blending products seamless. First use the flat edge of the MCS to pack on product, then the precision tip to conceal, and finally, blend it all out with the rounded side. Use it damp for extra dewiness and let that inner glow shine through. The Miracle Complexion Sponge is easy to clean using our Real Techniques Brush + Sponge Cleansing Gel. It’s also 100% cruelty-free, vegan, and designed with revolutionary latex-free foam technology.

Q: The description reads the brush is approximately 4" high by 2" wide. The product I received is barely 2 5/8" high by 1 1/2" wide. Is the description wrong? Are there different sizes in the orange sponge? Has the product shrunk?

A: The product actually grows when you add water. The size outlined is expanded grow.

With this sponge I love the angle cut, gets intricate areas (eg. my lower lid) perfectly without the uncomfortable feel of a round beveled sponge. In my opinion sponges gives the product a more seamless finish, when used properly it’s very easy to blend the products (concealer/foundation) & a little product goes a long way (I use less product than if u was to use a brush). I love the packaging, very cute, I definitely recommend.

I also love a value pack too, so this is great to have some sponges for back up! The quality of these sponges are great, they’re so soft! They can be used either damp or dry, but I always dampen my sponge before I use it. The sponge does unfortunately eat up a little bit of product, but that’s is to be expected from a sponge. Although it’s not a reason to not use it. I like the shape of it, the point is good for harder to reach spots like turn inner corner area, the sides for the larger areas of the face, and the flat side for setting your look. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend these sponges! Great quality without the massive price tag!

When wet the sponge becomes the perfect size in order to apply foundation and when it’s not wet, it still picks up the right amount of make up in order for it to distribute the make up properly.. I will never get tired of saying this brand is the OG’s of OG’s when it comes to Makeup

I have some older Real Techniques sponges and I don’t recall them getting expanding quite this much, so I think these new ones might be slightly different than older versions. They also feel a bit more dense and bouncy, but they apply foundation and blend out other liquid and cream products nicely. Like all sponges, they do absorb some product, more than the other hot pink sponges we are all familiar with, but considering how much more affordable these are I think that’s a fair trade off.

In the photo you can see the comparison between when it’s wet and not wet. Size is great for foundation application and I love the skinny point for concealer. I also love using this with powder under my eyes for baking. Just perfect! Also you can’t beat the price.

It doesn’t absorb or lift my foundation, so I’m not wasting any, and it hasn’t started to rip like others I’ve tried. It has a good soft texture when used wet. It’s also more affordable than others and seems to be of just as good quality.
