Not Worth It
I purchased on clearance for my LO. The chalk pen was dried up but I just considered that part a loss. I went for the regular chalk in our home and it won’t write on the board. The board had an unnecessary glossy coating, so the chalk barely shows up. If you want to write on it with sticker letters or some other option, it may work. Not what I wanted and will be recycling.

The marker is very light. Even though you can barely see it, it leaves markings on the board even after you wipe it off. I wish it didn’t say “First day of blank grade”. It should have just said “First day of blank”. It’s awkward if your child is in Kindergarten.

First Day of School Sign
A lot bigger than I expected but that was a nice surprise! I see some people had issues with the marker, ours worked great. We did have to shake it first so maybe people are missing that step. People are correct that you can see the writing very faintly even after it is "erased" but that won't ever be seen in a photo or affect writing on it for next year so that isn't really a dealbreaker imo.

Marker leaves a shadow.
Cute layout and a good size. The problem is the marker doesn’t come all the way off. There is still a shadow on the board from where we wrote and erased already. Overall a cute board but disappointed in trying to use it over and over.

Cute Board
Cute board, but the chalk markers leave behind a shadow on the board after cleaning it off. Also the entire board is not chalk material so if you get “marker” on the colorful parts, it stains. Considering the price, I shouldn’t complain too much.
