A: We don’t recommend leaving the cheese out entirely as it affects the final flavor of the biscuits, but the biscuits will still bake up well if you leave it out. You may replace the cheddar in the recipe with any other shredded cheese you have on hand, if you’d prefer.

I've read plenty reviews of this item and made some changes to my version of the biscuits. I used three times the amount of cheese, very finely grated. I also used cold water. They came out good, but not exactly like Red Lobster. As everyone has said, they are too salty. I guess the Red Lobster people can;t read.

What a mess. The batter sticks everywhere. Don’t use an ice cream scoop. Use a spoon instead. If you expect the biscuits to look and taste like that of Red Lobster’s, then you are up for disappointment. May need longer baking time. Not buying it again. Once is enough.

These were disgusting! I shredded cheddar & used real butter. They came out of the oven looking good but I had to spit my first bite out then threw all of them in the trash. The taste didn't resemble biscuits or garlic but more like old baking soda & salt & the box was not expired. I knew they wouldn't taste exactly like the restaurant but I thought they'd at least be edible.
