Description
Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits are a savory, cheddary family favorite that comes straight from our kitchen to yours. They’re not only delicious, they’re incredibly easy to make. Simply add shredded cheddar and water to the mix and bake. Before serving, mix the contents of the enclosed herb pouch with melted butter and brush or spoon it on your freshly baked biscuits. Then sit back...and enjoy! This order includes one 11.36-ounce box.
Directions
You Will Need:
3/4 cup cold water; 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese; 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix.
Herb Butter Sauce: 1/3 cup butter; 1 pouch garlic herb blend (enclosed).
Before You Begin: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper or spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
1. Stir together water, cheese and biscuit mix until dough forms (do not overmix).
2. Scoop dough immediately into 8-10 portions (about 1/4 cup each) and place 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.
3. Bake 14-16 minutes or until golden brown on top. Melt butter in a microwave safe bowl, add garlic herb blend and stir until well blended.
4. Spoon or brush 1 teaspoon garlic herb butter sauce onto each hot biscuit. Serve immediately.
High Altitude (over 5,000 feet): No adjustment necessary.

Q: Should the butter be unsalted or salted for the herb butter sauce?

A:Â Either works just fine! Salted butter tastes a little saltier but still tastes great; and using unsalted butter tastes great too.

Q: Is it ok to skip the cheddar?

A: We don’t recommend leaving the cheese out entirely as it affects the final flavor of the biscuits, but the biscuits will still bake up well if you leave it out. You may replace the cheddar in the recipe with any other shredded cheese you have on hand, if you’d prefer.

These are outstanding. I crowded the pan and they still turned out terrific. I used a tad bit more cheddar and added some dried parsley to the butter and they rooked and tasted just like the real deal, maybe a tad less salty. Anybody that doesn’t like these clearly has no taste, can’t boil water or both!

These were disgusting! I shredded cheddar & used real butter. They came out of the oven looking good but I had to spit my first bite out then threw all of them in the trash. The taste didn't resemble biscuits or garlic but more like old baking soda & salt & the box was not expired. I knew they wouldn't taste exactly like the restaurant but I thought they'd at least be edible.

Super easy to make and delicious every time. The biscuit mix is perfect and the buttered sauce topping is amazing! Some meals call for biscuits instead of bread, and I have often served these biscuits to dinner guests - EVERYONE LOVES THEM!! Cheesy with great garlic flavor and a so quick and easy to make. Drop style so no rolling/cutting out. I keep a ziplock bag of these in my freezer and take out 1or 2 when I need them. Just zap in microwave for 15-20 seconds to warm. So much better than dinner rolls and sooo yummy…everyone in my family loves these biscuits!
