One thing I did notice was the small wasn’t nearly as strong as products with Ammonia. After I rinsed the product out, no smell remained. I also noticed it rinsed out so much easier. Not sure if this is anecdotal, but it was noticeable. The color came out as pictured on the box and had a nice sheen. It didn’t leave my hair as shiny and soft as other hair coloring kits I have used.

However, this product had barely any burning sensation. My hair took the respective color really fast that after 15 minutes I was already all good to go, hair dried, completely perfect! I will be using more of this product and brand

It takes two boxes to cover my hair. The hair texture was great. The scent was fine until I went swimming and then it smelled like my hair was burning. Both color selection and application process was not horrible.

Although each individual is different, I personally notice a difference in the new ingredients. I used to get a little tingle from the old formula however, not with this one. It is less potent and the color is still amazing.

The scent is tolerable and the packaging is a bit sturdier than it looks! I did not experience hair breakage or fallout. I think the vegan and ammonia-free formula is amazing although the shade was not as chocolatey as I was expecting.
