Q: I see the camera can withstand 20°f but what about -5 ?

A: Hi, thanks for reaching out about the Rexing V1 Lite 2K Wi-Fi Dash Cam with USB-C Connection and 32GB microSD Card The Rexing V1 Lite 2K should be able to handle temperatures down to -5 F without issue, thanks to its design. While you saw the 20 F number, Rexing's dash cams, including models in the V1 series, are generally rated for a much lower operating temperature because they use a Supercapacitor instead of a traditional Lithium-ion battery. Q: I see where the dash cam can withstand temperatures down to 20°. What about if it hits like -5? I live somewhere where it’s very cold half the year.

The setup was quite easy. The 2K video is quite clear both during the day and at night. With the wide angle, you're able to catch everything. I like how slim it is and how you can easily forget it is there. The App is easy to understand to easily download your videos to your phone. I did not try the parking monitor, as I didn't get hit during impact while using this camera. The added microSD that comes with this is an added bonus. This was a great replacement for my previous Rexing when it broke from an accident. If it wasn't for my camera, it would have been a he said she said situation. Do yourself a favor and get a camera that works, is functional, and doesn't hurt the pocket. This one does all of that.

Slim and easy to use
I got this dash cam as part of a upgrade program. So far I am a big fan. This model is slim and easy to setup. Just apply to the windshield and plug in. Recording quality is excellent and although it comes with an app to view your recordings, that is not required as you could always pop out the memory card and download on your computer. I love that it uses a usb-c connector. Some of the older models did not. If you want to hardwire this instead of using the cigarette lighter plug, you can buy a seperate adapator online. Very easy to do. Otherwise another excellent product from Rexing.

I've been a rexing customer for a few years now and I've never had a product I was unsatisfied with. The video quality is great and the app functionality is easy to use. One thing to note is that the kit only comes with a cigarette lighter cable.

Very good one for the price point. Video quality is clear good. I think 32gb is enough for me since it overwrite the old file and keep only the one that trigger the sensor. Very light and stay on the mirror wirh no issues. LCD screen gives very convenient programs and setting up. Overall well worth it

Great DashCam in a small quality package!
This is a very nice unit for those needing a front view camera. The unit is simple and the majority of access to it is through an App on your smartphone. It has a nice clear camera with 2K Resolutioin, which is pretty good for this simple Dash Cam. The Camera has a wide angle field of view which is nice in capturing most everything you need to see in front of you. For a budget camera, it has "Parking Monitor" which is great to have. It has built-in Loop Recording which will overwrite what was recorded at the first when the SD Card is full. I would recommend this camera to someone who wants something fairly simple, straight forward and pretty good quality without spending a lot of money.

Superb budget dashcam
This is my 2nd Rexing Dash Cam. Previously owned a V1LG Dual Channel in 2019. I has issues with it after a year and Rexing reaching out and replaced at now cost to me. This is a great camera in a small package. Love the slim profile. The camera view is so clear and having 170° field of view is perfect capturing a natural field of view. Overall a great budget dash cam for first timers. Will continue to use and report back with any issues I encounter.

Waste of money and possibly dangerous
Don't waste your money on this one. It has a clunky unintuitive interface. All functions need to be done on your phone which could be a big problem. Connecting to your phone is tedious and not straightforward. The main problem is the lack of a core feature of dashcams. It doesn't have a button to save footage like almost all dashcams do. It's helpful in an accident when you don't want to get your phone out or can't. I emailed Rexing to ask them where this button was and they told me it doesn't have one, the only way to save footage is to go on your phone and do it. Definitely something you want to do if you're in a crash. That's a big deal breaker and as soon as they told me that, I put it back in the box and returned it. Get another dashcam.
