However, this doorbell include a Chime Kit Mini in the box, which is a small device that gets installed inside your existing chime housing. The Chime Kit Mini connects to your existing doorbell wiring and produces an audible alert inside your home when someone presses the doorbell.

In installed 3 Ring doorbells and it’s so so easy! This one looks exactly the same as far as install goes but I love the new sleeker design. It’s been crazy cold in the northeast since I got this and since I’m already using a fantastic Ring doorbell I’m doing to wait for the temps to at least hit the 40s before hanging out outside.

I love that I get notifications on my alerts! And you can use all your ring devices on the same subscription. Some places make you pay for each camera. Ring has an option to link all of them! It was so easy to install! Took about 45ish minutes. I like that is lot too bulky. It’s the perfect size. It was two way communication which is nice as well as the zoom on this thing is wild. You can also move the camera. Like it’s not a straight in view. You move your finger side to side and it will look more in that direction. Absolutely 10 outta 10!

My wifi connection is little poor, I think. That's why i lost connection while talking through the app. But I like the sensor. When people come close to my door, the app will send me a note said: there's a person at your door. That's a security guard right there.

Crystal Clear Video, Easy Installation, Comes With
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ring Wired Doorbell Plus (2nd Gen) was a pretty easy and simple installation. If you already have a doorbell, wiring it is a breeze. The app gives you step by step instructions on how to put it together and install it. I feel safer and more at ease knowing who and what is at my door at all times. My husband and myself both own small businesses and get multiple packages a day. The Ring Doorbell helps us keep track of what is coming and who is delivering it. I really like the history feature, where you can playback video history of what is recorded on the camera and Ring even gives you a discription of what the recording is like "black cat walking across the porch". Ring has some really cool features like Neighbors. Neighbors allows everyone that is in the local community to communicate with each other about missing animals, crime and community announcements. The camera works great, is high definition and the picture is crystal clear. I have had a few different video Doorbell cameras and Ring is by far superior!

As a special needs family this camera has given us peace of mind. Our son is on the autism spectrum (level 2), has combined ADHD, and an intellectual disability. Having this ring camera doorbell gives us constant monitoring for the occasional elopement, it prevents any safety issues from arising, and best of all, it prevents nighttime distress (late night wake up and potentially opening front door) by notifying us immediately if someone is in video range. App is so easy to setup and use. 100/10 completely recommend

The video quality is clear day and night and I get alerts quickly when someone walks up. I really like being able to see and talk to visitors right from my phone even when I am not home. Setup was pretty simple as long as you already have doorbell wiring. It feels reliable and gives some extra peace of mind without being complicated. Overall it does exactly what I need and feels like a solid value for the price.

Clear sounds and camera

This is the wired 2nd gen doorbell, and the installation wasn’t that difficult since we just replaced an old doorbell. For me, the size of the doorbell is just perfect, not too big or small. Im still testing out the app, but it hasn’t been hard to manage. The ring doorbell responds quick. The camera looks so clear and our voices are heard clearly too. So thats a plus. I will be playing around with the app and testing out different subscriptions to see which one suits me more.

I often look at it in the middle of the night to see what is going on in my neighborhood. You can set up the motion sensor for more or less coverage.
