@homebyheidi We’ve been in our new space now almost 2 months. It Feels like 6 months if I’m being honest! We hit the ground running and I was determined to- 1- Make it Really Cozy! 2- Decorated really cute so it felt like “my home & my style” 3- I wasn’t going to treat this space like it was a temporary situation, but with lots of love! A place to grow in and throw my heart into. So…I’ve bought new furniture and pillows, a new washer and dryer, a water softener and added peel & stick wallpaper! My hubby also built me a fireplace mantle for our bedroom so my room felt like my old one. He even promised me a second one for the 2nd floor-kitchen area. Even though it smaller space…it’s been emotional really nice to take a second to breath, take the pressure off of home ownership, and focus, design and dream what we REALLY want for our next home. We also plan on throwing in a few trips (which is my true passion!) As you can see I’m REALLY loving my new home! I Can’t wait to share the bedroom designs I’m working up and all the fun collaborations that go along with it! No matter where you are in Life… LOVE IT!!!
